    Fuel shocker

I had a complete shock last week on two counts:- 1. After driving up and down the country all week in the Zed (listening to the sounds! ) I went to fill the car up and realised that I had done 422 miles on the tank of fuel. That can't be far off some kind of record! 2. It then proceeded to swallow £80 of fuel! A tidy 69 and a bit litres. First time I've got that much in it, and the DTE still claimed 35 miles. But it was the most enjoyable £80 I have spent with the Zed. nice roads, long drives and decent sounds from engine and speakers. Awesome.
  2. Depends how often it gets used. But it isn't dirty for long, and when it goes in the garage it will be clean. On average once every two weeks, big sessions once every couple of months really.
  3. Let me know what happens Shire, I might be interested....

    Insurance

Not a bad quote. But most of it is a postcode lottery beyond 25. Welcome to the site.
  5. I am here! What's up bud?? I hope to be there. Depends whether I have to go away for work yet....
  6. What a bunch of spacktards. Keep at em, they don't have a case and are trying to bully you into it!
  7. Nice idea, but politicians don't run the country with common sense.
  8. Only other thing I have seen is over a longer period if a car is not driven at higher speed and gets a good air flow out through when it has been wet, they rust earlier than well used examples. But at 3 years old it is going to take some time for that!
  9. At least the exhaust isn't dirty anymore!
  10. Mmmm blue veined legs, nice! Whoever driving that Note was some driver, he was passing everything!!

    wheels stolen

+1 In with the wrecked exotics pics somewhere too.
  12. I think that is more the point Chris. The Sound Gallery looked at mine for a fair while and came up with it needing opening up and re-wiring to do it. They certainly couldn't find anything made out there that controlled the phone as well. I hope someone does find a way though! Good luck with PAC.
  13. The phone bit can't be done without pulling the switch apart and re-wiring it and the headunit. I've managed to keep my stereo controls, and set the speak button up to do the source control on the headunit. With the microphone and connection being closed down with the other button, there is no easy way of making it work. Don't forget that aftermarket units don't tend to have the bluetooth unit hard coded into the unit - they are treated as an auxiliary input.
  14. Stepped up from the skimmed milk then Mr Hardcore!
  15. Has Jay ordered some of these?!
  16. D'oh! I did initially think that but then from memory most waxes I've tried came in similar pots. Maybe you need to get out of your garage more And how reliable is your memory!? I've not been in it much, as I haven't had the car.
