Go back and get pictures of the actual location, with the time and date being recorded on the photo. So stand back and get the surroundings so it cannot be argued where the pothole actually is. Do this ASAP, they are very good at filling these things in just after it happens, it did with me....... Then send pictures of the damage to them - do NOT pay for anything yourself unless you are prepared to foot the bill. Whatever you choose, they will then claim it is more economical to do the opposite ie you replace the wheel, they'd say it can be repaired. They should be pretty quick, especially if you mention you will be needing to hire a car while the damage is being repaired......

I still think about 30% of them are on a power trip, but there are actually quite a few who know how to manage their position well. A carefully worded warning or line of questions can be a lot effective than being an arse and losing respect.

Not structly true. Thats only if you want to eject a CD thats in a diff position to the one you are currently listening too. Try pushing an holding the Eject button (this will normally eject all 6 CD;s in sequence). Failing that, use impact engineering and hit the flaming thing! If there is a number flashing it can indicate a faulty disc though....
