  1. Cradle snatcher Jealousy is a terrible thing Beavis!
  2. 33 when I bought it, 35 now. A friend died and I decided life is too short not to enjoy it. No regrets!
  3. That looks so wrong, mate. I think you need a sweeping gravel drive to compliment the G now!
  4. 1988 Honda Civic 1.4 GL. Red with Fondmetal 14" alloys. Loved it to bits and did 126,000 happy miles together. This was way before Civics became a Max Power car and they were only driven by housewives and OAPs. I was so frustrated that I couldn't get mods for it - oh, how things have changed. Seriously underrated car though - 90 bhp, weighed very little and double wishbones all round. Quick enough to upset poorly driven 205 GTi's and R5 Turbos.
  5. Now my money would have been on a Model T, John!
  6. Welcome, Jables! Pop over to the intro's section if you get a second and introduce your self properly. We don't bite! (Apart from Nixy)
  7. Welcome aboard! Don't be put off by the comments. We're a big family on here and people are just being protective to ensure you don't get ripped off. I would make sure they can guarantee that the car is a full UK spec and one of the original run (176 I think?) of GT4's. I only mention this as car supermarkets do a lot of parallel importing of Japanese cars from Cyprus. Cypriot market cars won't have the weather protection of a UK car and may have specs differences. Possibly worth investigating further why a UK car was sent over to Cyprus but it may be as simple as there being no official imports of the GT4/Anniversary model to the island. Whatever you do I'm sure you'll enjoy the car.
  8. All the info you could ever need here for free! http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=313 Follow the link and you'll be an expert on all bodykits.
  9. Welcome aboard, mate! Have a look at this - looks like the same kit on the front page. May be worth an enquiry. http://www.futuremotorsports.com/ Personally I'm not keen on the kit and if I had the money would go for a new or nearly new UK MY07. The new engine is getting some corking reviews and even the new bonnet bulge has grown on me.
  10. I'm so sorry for your loss, Tim. Condolences from Kat and I to you and yours. If there's anything I can do you know where to find me.
  11. Links seem to have disappeared but this may be the same article... http://www.nissansportmag.com/images/Tu ... er_05_.pdf A bit old now but still interesting.
  12. Go for it mate. A little bit of insider knowledge never hurt anybody!
  13. I think you took out some of the coding which produces the nice white quote box. Try and make sure you don't take out anything from the square brackets at the beginning and end of the quote or the brackets themselves.
  14. Nice one, mate! Definitely one of the good guys in rock. Only celeb I ever met was Nigel Mansell. I was 15 and on my last hols with the family in Austria. On the Sunday night we were eating in the hotel restaurant when Big Nige, his wife and his moustache walk in. We ask the head waiter if he can get an autograph for us. He comes back to say Nige isn't in the best of moods (his wheel having fallen off in the race for those old enough to remember) but if I'm up in the morning I can caddy for him at golf (I think he was playing off 2 at the time). Next morning I get up and can't find a camera anywhere, so grab little bro's Polaroid and shoot out the door. He's playing the course at Seefeld (beautiful course with one of those holes where there's a tee on one level and then a huge drop/cliff and the green way below IIRC) and he's accompanied by the hotel manager and the editor of Italian Golf Magazine. He travels in a Quattro Sport (yes, the ugly but extremely fast chopped down Quattro) and we're in regular Quattros. Now when I say caddying it really only amounted to pulling the trolley along - he wasn't going to take advice from a non-playing 15 year old was he? He basically ignored me for a few holes. I then decided to take a picture as he was teeing off. I'd never used a Polaroid before and as it whirred and banged I wanted the ground to open up! A couple of holes later he deigned to speak to me - his PR bit presumably. It probably didn't help that I was a Nelson Piquet fan at the time but lets say we didn't exactly hit it off and the chat lasted no more than 5 mins. Got some good photos though and definitely a day to remember.
