  1. Just spotted this kit. Don't like the front but these guys have done mix'n'match. The black car with the Ings lip is awesome - really complements the original lines. http://my350z.com/forum/showthread.php? ... al+20+rear http://my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=284995
  2. This would have been me and him Id be the one doing the hitting ....and wearing lippy and false lashes!
  3. The one he's referring to was a meet at a pub just outside Chester and then those that wanted a drive out went for a short spin and back to the pub - 45 mins or so IIRC. I was eating my lunch...
  4. Mystery solved. Glad it was nothing serious. Locked.

I drove the car to Anfield on saturday and parked it on the street in a proper dodgy area You miserable git, why didn't you give me a buzz! Didn't even give it a thought mate, totally forgot Do you live anywhere near the ground? Not really, but I would have popped over to say hi. Maybe next time.
  6. Oh yes I did but it didn't stop me from doing excatly the same thing fractions of a second later! Yeah and there was that S2000 (well think it was) on the other side of the road that was facing the wrong way with the coppers there! Looked like he'd done the same.... Saw that - couldn't decide whether it was an S2000 of a modded MX5 but definitely pointing in the wrong direction.... Like I said in my other thread, I had a fairly wayward afternoon which I'm hoping is just down to the greasy conditions.

    370z pics... maybe

The only one I don't like is the the rear on 1st pic - far too bulbous. I don't have a problem with an evolutionary design provided its sufficiently different to recognise it as the new model i.e. not like the Cockster.
  10. Did anyone else find the roads super-slippy in the rain today? Now I've done 34k miles rain or shine and I reckon I've got a reasonable handle on how far you can push the Zed in the wet but as I took the slip road from the M60 onto the M62 (a fairly gentle curve for those that don't know it), travelling at a modest pace in fifth, I squeezed the throttle pretty gently and the back end stepped out enough to require some swift correction and an equally swift tightening of ones sphincter! Obviously it was very wet but I really don't think I was pushing it. The stability/traction control didn't activate at all. If that had been it I would have put it down to some diesel/oil on the road but I definitely had a couple of wiggles on the road up to the Cat & Fiddle - again at what I would call a fairly moderate wet weather pace. I'm wondering if it was just the roads being greasy as we haven't had that much rain in the last couple of weeks. Nevertheless, I'll be checking the rear tyre pressures and anything else I can think of just in case. Anyone else have any ideas?
  11. Even the sh1te weather couldn't stop this being a great afternoon with great company and damned good food. Shame all we could see out of the windows was mist though. Good to meet Paul & wife - hope we made you feel welcome. Less of those scouser jibes though, you old woolly-back! Apologies to Jonathan & wife, Chris and Dave who I barely got to speak to. My own fault for being late... Thanks to Mike and Jacko for leading me through the deluge to more misery at the Trafford Centre (some shops stay open until 6pm ). Sorry I couldn't join you boys for a brew - next time I promise. Oh, and big respect to Tim for wearing that shirt - must have been a dare!
  12. Glad there's no serious damage to your boy.

I spotted Simon George's orange Murcie from EVO in the week. Driving into Liverpool! Looked the mutts.
  17. Nice one, Paul. We're looking forward to the pics.
  18. Cheers, mate. Tere's attack makes mine pale into insignificance, though. At least the Zed was locked away........this time. The Police updated us in the week. The fat kid that was caught said he had just got off the train behind the gang but wasn't with them and was walking behind them (he certainly wasn't on my train and the previous train from Liverpool was 30 mins earlier so this is bull ). When the neighbours rushed out he just panicked and ran (more bull...). He says he doesn't know any of them. The Police are trying to get the CCTV from the station to show he was with the gang so that they can haul him back in but there was an air of resignation about the officer which indicated to me that this was unlikely to go any further. I know I was being tongue in cheek about the neighbours position in all this but in all seriousness if this kid establishes that he was an innocent pedestrian who they have chased, apprehended and kept prisoner this could have repercussions. I hope not....
  19. DentTec in Warrington are one our traders and I couldn't recommend their service highly enough.
  20. Nightmare! Gutted for you, mate.
  21. Wouldn't disagree. Engine light + funny noises = bad news. Err on the side of caution.
