  2. Got me a CRV. Fits the bill and I'm too risk averse to run a Landie.
  3. My GReddy exhaust was cheaper than that Yes but its a can missing!

    New BMW Z4

We must be tight arses here in Liverpool but you'd never describe the Z4 as a common sight.
  5. Lay off the black Micra's too! Actually, our little workhorse will probably be going at the end of the week to be replaced with something bigger...
  6. Thanks buddy Why don't you guys fit them together?
  7. Thanks for the support everyone. This site's all about its members.
  8. One of the nicest Zeds I've seen in the UK. Stunner!
  9. I had the 245/275 combo mentioned.
  10. Looks great - first one I've seen with a bulge and suits it perfectly. I disagree with Zummertor - you do need the skirts.
  11. They have had full order books for a long time now. Carbon fibre body work means that it weighs only 1060 kg! The question is whether people begin to pull out as things get tighter. I hope not as they have a good product.

Is it a photoshop or a real pic?
  13. This has been covered a zillion times, even in the last few days. Please use the search function - its all there if you look.
  14. Last time I tried this with Admiral they adjusted my premium but don't actually cover the mods.
  15. I think we're looking at this the wrong way round. The GTR is an amazing car for the price and I wouldn't spend an extra £45k for a few secs round the ring. However, what is there for £100k which is faster than the Vette round the Ring? Still a real achievement for GM IMHO.
  16. Also odd how you would dismiss an extra 2-3 mpg so readily when you are defending those who adapt there driving style to probably gain little more. I am not dismissing, the point i am making is your often better off trying to save 2/3mpg in the current car than switch only to find you have saved 2/3mpg but alot quite a lot of performance i.e. your actually no better off ..and don't have the chance to go and have a blast when you want. If I was getting a car which was "quite a lot slower" I'd be looking for a better gain than 2/3 mpg.
  17. Lose weight but lose a lot of torque. No thanks.
  18. How about this one? May be worth a trip to NI? http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... c&start=15
  19. It's up at £12,850 and I'm based in Manchester. A lot of the points I made were questions, rather than problems with the car. I've seen a few now and never noticed the cam chain tensioner noise before which was my main concern. I thought every car might be like that and I'd just not noticed. As for the axle, going off this site I'm guessing £400 for parts and labour on top of that? Seriously mate, its just not cheap enough for all the hassle. And that cam chain noise would have me running a mile.

I suggested spacers because he was saying he wanted the Nismos. I agree with you that if looking at other wheels the offset is key and its always better to get the right offset than fudge it with spacers. On the other hand, provided you get good hubcentric spacers from someone like Eibach you should be fine. For all the old wives tales about additional wear on the wheel bearings I'm yet to actually find someone who has had a problem. Agree with Digsy said Didnt someone have issues with non hubcentric ones? There was certainly some problem and everyone naturally blamed the spacers. Can't remember what the outcome was but the non-hubcentric ones are definitely to be avoided.
  21. you'll be cutting a hole out the floor and shuffling along flintstones style Now that's a mod I haven't seen done!
