  8. The B****tds came out with the statement that they were holding up the extra duty of 2p a litre on fuel to help the motorist (which with someone doing say 10k miles a year would save about £30-40 ) Then go and slap a 100% Road tax rise on...£200 do they all think were F*****king stupid,?? Whilst the majority of MP's are happily fiddling their expenses I detest this government
  9. did anyone ?? I cant seem to find anyone to own up to voting for these B******ds ,or dont I speak to enough drug addled , state dependant no hopers , that dont run cars ?? Road tax up £200 just like that !! 100% for F***ks sake it's a joke.... if this happened in France for example they would be burning politicians in the street

  15. Because down south we pay for electricity and don't rely on the local windmill Since when has Birmingham been classed as the South, South of Manchester maybe
  16. I'm sorry but I have to say something here. Both my zeds were more ostenstatious than yours. Neither ever got any unwanted attention form lowlifes. The gallardo was perhaps the most attention grabbing car around and I never feared parking it anywhere. I stuck it in car parks, council estates right by Anfield, @*!# holes in london and in places where the car was worth nearly 3 times what the houses were......etc. The point being, its just a car. Its perhaps only the owner that is even aware of the car wherever its parked. IMO, leaving at home a 5 year old silver JDM is over kill.......don't take offence Jim No you've missed the point Sarnie , if you care about a car , albeit a 15 year old Sierra or a new Ferrari you always worry about other peoples carelessness.. if you dont give a hoot about your car or you have daft money it wont matter...if you have ever had a car marked in a car park it certainly focuses your attention (especially with the price bodyshops charge )
  17. they look like they want a couple of hundred spending on them though
  18. Had a black car once ,never again soul destroying trying to keep the swirls at bay
  19. why not just get your seats recovered in leather ? or get another set and do the same (keep your originals for when you sell the car and get your money back on the leather ones ) Tim, when you take the seats out I assume you have to disconnect the connections to the airbag etc. So what happens when you re-install the seats - is there a resetting procedure required? Pardon my ignorance in this area. no just plugged in and out no drama or special procedures
