  2. Good news for both I reckon.. http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/lotus/defa ... ryId=18041
  3. Ah you lot are all too soft LOL, spoilt by Japanese refinement The clutches are crap though, mine was shot at 3000 miles, as was the back tyre and I wouldn't ever buy a Ducati second hand, heard too many horror stories LOL, even worse than an Alfa... Mine had just had £1k spent on the engine.....
  4. What a disgrace. 2 dogs get on the track. Bruno Senna hits one....dead dog Senna is out. Safety car comes out whilst they catch the other. How on earth do the organisers let this kind of thing happen. We keep hearing of Silverstone losing F1 due to facilities needing upgrading etc. but this is basic stuff and should not happen. Turkey should loose their F1 status...OK rant over.
  5. Yes. An Elise soft top fits too.
  6. Sunny day, a few extra mods...
  7. Yeah I know what you mean, I think the word is "focused". Rock hard ride, radical riding postion, only makes sense when you are on it. But I must confess I'm a Sunday morning rider so I can live with all that. My bike is just a toy and I know I'm never going to do much more than a couple of hundred miles at a time on the thing. It's the looks and the noise with Ducatis, as you say. Gorgeous things. I would have described my 996 as "agricultural".... at standstill with the clutch out they sound like a bag o nails (dry clutch And the clutch grabs, the clutch is heavy even though it's hydraulic. The vibrations from the V twin are horrible, the throttle is super sensitive..etc. etc. Give me an R1 any day...

  9. I like it in white. Impreza's are great cars and the handling really suits british road. I had a 01 WRX PPP a few years ago and it was probably the best handling saloon car I've had, especially after I had the geo setup.

    My new car

Thanks...... I now have this horrible image of some bloke squeezed into an Ann Summer's Nurse outfit stuck in my head.... i look sexy She.....I said she. Actually she's the Director of Nursing at DRI Derby..
  11. I always wanted a Duke and bought a 996BP last October. I hated it, too much like hard work. Sounded and looked great but didn't enjoy riding it. I won't be having another Duke. Mine had £4k's worth of service receipts BTW... I love my R1 though, much nicer to ride and much quicker. It's also got a full Yoshi Race system so sounds pretty nice too...

and didn't they all have carbon roofs and no sunroof, think you're right kev I thought the carbon roofs were the latest generation, but you might be right.

I love the night shot too. A CSL replica if I'm not mistaken, i.e. CSL wheels, boot and front spolier, but no CSL badges. Weren't all CSL's silver?

    Nice Exige Vid

Snow = cold = damp = slippy = potential crash A048's don't work too well when it's cold, which is what I assume he's on. They are pretty much like motorbike tyres in that they need to heat up to grip.

I saw this from a post on SELOC. This is what one of the guys over there posted.

CTR. A popular conversion on S1's. Also some have an SC so pushing 300+bhp. A stripped out S1 is around 780kg's..
  19. +1 Its a non-story. Built as an homage to the original M1. Some journo making a headline out of nothing. You're probably right, but I used to love the M1.

    Nice Exige Vid

It's a well known car in Seloc and well setup. A well setup Exige is easy to drive, but when they let go they let go big time, I can vouch for that.... He's running Yoko Advan A048's I think like most of us. Awsome sticky tyres providing it's not too wet. I can vouch for that too...

    And in the snow..
  23. They should all be banned from the OC then for daring to own a different car.... Giles in a GT-R, that'll get an easy life then......
  24. So what's he getting next, a 911 maybe....
  25. That's British Rail Fares for you, the biggest travel rip off in the world..
