I think I read £46k a while back wich is too much really. I guess we will find out on 22nd July. I hope it does well for Lotus's sake. It's not for me though I'd rather my Exige anyday, although they are 2 totally different cars.

Would you believe I still haven't got this done, but finally booked our Range Rover in for tints on 2nd August. I now need to decided how dark to go. I don't want Limo Black, so its a case of either one shade lighter the Midnight or 2 shades lighter Dark Smoke. I think I may go subtle and have Dark Smoke. Any pictures prefereably with % would help. I've been using Pentagon's scale but apparently there's loads of shades so % is the most accurate way of specifying. So get posting you tints please with % if possible? Cheers

Thanks guys, I've had an off very recenlty on the 03 R1 in the wet. Lost the front end at slow speed. No harm done and bike's now fixed. My stupid fault, but you hopefully live and learn. I'm hoping my track day on 26th will e a learning experience. I've certainly always learned a lot in a car on track. The new bike is speed restricted BTW....to 186 mph apparently...

All that hard cash from selling the Cossie was buring a hole as they say. Got a cracking deal on an 08 new bike and fell in love with the Blue scheme. I'm keeping the 03 R1 for now and have booked for a Track Day at Mallory Park, on the 03 of course. These are catalogue pictures as only collected it Sunday and didn't get round to taking any pictures

Crazy, the thing is the weight saving is minimal. A few on SELOC have compared the weight of CF clams available from Lotus Motorsport. Looks cool though.

He's not so young, mate. Isn't 6 years old the equivalent of 42? He looks younger than 6. My dog's 6 too. We've had him since he was 8 weeks old.

You'd be surprised to hear I only brush him every couplle of months. Mainly because he hates it bit also because I can get away with it. Mind you when I do brush him its bloody hard work. Make sure your get Scrappy to mix with other dogs and people, including kids whilst he's young.

Sold the Cossie tonight and got my asking price, so well chuffed. The guy was very happy and said it was exactly what he was looking for. He had my track wheels and slicks too so pleased that he plans to take it on track.

Getting the traction down is the issue, but in higher gears it's pretty impressive..scary at times on the road.
