  1. will be happy to oblige, once i'm better and ready to clean.
  2. true, but flexi's allow for engine movment,
  3. very true. but the weak point is not the flexi joint its self, its the collars either side that hold the steel weave in place. on all the exhausts i've seen the welds have been fine, but the actual collar had disintergrated and rotted out. i fixed one side of mine with a new flexi joint and sourced a special stainless flexi joint which should fix the problem

which dealership? take it else where
  5. if they are paying get the panel re done. i'm considering a repair on mine and getting just the dmamage done, but thats only down to cost. £175 for the repair, or probably twice that if i go to a badyshop.

Bull absolute bull! unless the window has a heater element in it (which he 350z doesn't) or its lead lined then there is no reason a windscreen would affect it. either the software or the hardware is fubared and needs replacing. if its out of warranty and they quote you more than £400, go speak to nurrish and have one of his units put in.
  7. i'll speak to madmarky and see if he might drop the loan wheels off at the refub place for me.
  8. if i wait till half term i could technically leave them the car for 3 days. but to be honest i just want them to do it and i still have my car to drive. the other reason of pre fitting is it should mean they match the tyre with the wheel, i don't want to find they put a front wheel on the back with a back tyre on. etc. i know its unlikely. but i'm worried because aren't the wheels different widths front and back?
  9. I'll remember that if I want insurance in France, Germany, South Africa, Italy, USA, Egypt or Quatar.... there are similiar ones in this country, just the cars in the cars aren't as sporty. didn't a footballer spank his ferrari in a tunnel in the uk?
  10. He said to call him when im ready to fit, so ill give him a bell then yeah its the best thing to do, he'll talk you through it, it is straight forward, but there is a nack to it, you don't want to get them on squiffy.
  11. found john grose did me the best price, don't mind them fitting as after they're on, then it goes to the refurb shop for a new paint job. having to do it this way as i can't get the tyres and temporay wheels all in at the same time. Why not save the cost and have the new tyres fitted at the refurb place. They'll only take the newly fitted tyres off anyways. I'm pretty sure you can fit 4 tyres into the Zed... Unless it takes more than one day, then I'm sure that between the Zed and the Golf, you can carry the tyres to the refurb place... was hoping to borrow a set of wheels and it was fitting those in as well. but yes this would be the prefered method.
  12. its just their anti hoody policy, a burka doesn't look like a hoody.
  13. and a couple of young drivers as well, now you can see why insurance is expensive on performance cars for under 25's
  14. forgot to add, did rob give you advice on fitting
  15. good man, look forward to seeing a pic of them fitted.
  16. if he was a proper jedi, he would have gone back with his light saber and shown them the way of the force. what i fear is his version, would be standing naked out side tescos swinging his c0ck about making lightsaber sounds, shouting can you feel the force
  17. i have a feeling he is due back before this, but could be making wild stabs in the dark.
  18. what isn't suprising is that alot were people showing off.
  19. they balance as well, and thanks for the info, i'll go in sack cloth for maximum discount
  20. check out dodo juice as well, they do some very good products.
  21. these are all examples of how not to drive hope the occupants were ok.

Agreed, Alfa really know how to make a good looking car i hope it suffers the usual alfa depreciation so i can buy one in a couple of years for a bargain price.
  23. are we now in the JPOC the Japanese Porsche Owners Club
  24. to be honest, they are nice, but my budget only allows for a refurb. but i know these would go quick, so someone is going to get a nice set.
