  1. probalby sat on the under car splash gaurds' they have a slight slope to the front so may be near the bumper by now or gone the other way in to the other dip and be near where the 2 parts meet underneath
  2. constructed of SUS-304 fully polished stainless steel from the cat-back to the canister. (quoted from a sales page) can't get on the website as its down at the moment i think the tips are titanium i remember flicking the tips when i was cleaning it and the noise was not a steel sound. if your feeling brave you could always take a blow torch to them
  3. is yours pre or post facelift?
  4. invidia website says they are burnt titanium, as its a heat treatment it should go all the way through the metal. when i did the tips i used the same stuff and it didn't come off. it maybe that the burning doesnt go as far down as you think especially on the bottom. i could never get the tips back to silver, only a goldy finish,

  7. yes and i took it on track days etc, i liked it and it was fun but just never gave me that "je ne se qa" (cant spell) not saying i didn't enjoy the zed, just saying the S2K is better suited to my driving style and car wants. as for buying a zed convertible, i'm sorry but they look like a big ford KA, no offense, but the coupe was the better looking of the 2. the 370z has addressed alot of those issues and as a roadster the 370Z is a good looker.
  8. i autosoled the whole exhaust and it was fine. the centre box comes up like a mirror when done. not sure about the burnt titanium finish
  9. i've just invested in some renovo roof cleaner and sealant, got rave reviews and highly regarded in the classic car scene.
  10. i went the other way, the zed is a lovely car but got bored, had it for about 16 months which is good going for me. 2 years is still my car record with my MR2 roadster. and part of the reason i've gone back to soft top motoring. the s2000 just fits more of my wants and needs than the zed did. glad i owned it but glad to move on as well. the itch came quicker than i expected with the zed. been driving with the roof down and the music up loud and i've found myself actually smiling while i drive, something i never did in the zed.
  11. +1 A 20 pack of Marlboro is over £6 now - £5 of that is tax - its ludicrous enough as it is thank you very much! i still think they should put it up. yes your paying for it but as stated above its a luxury and benefits no one, seeing as some one has got to foot the bill why not this instead of the nhs workers as discussed above. because they are already taxed to buggery
  12. no issues at all, top job there its all about promoting the club, the more people that see the club address the better it is
  13. ahh no; not that t0ss pot lol well done dan on being a mod again, i thought you said you wouldnt do it again, obviously found somewhere worthy of your skills i'll pm you my ban list suggestions later

    K1 swap?

have you tried putting the bungs in?
  15. very little will actually hit the NHS, it will all get used to pay for pram faces to stay at home and pop sprogs out.
  16. a bit of a different debate but smokers have paid for their health care ten fold in the amount of tax they already pay on it. if it was such a major health concern then why haven't they banned it altogether. oh hang on that will be because they'll loose a massive chunk of tax gain they get from it already.
  17. i f my final salary pension is cut i'll quit teaching. its on eof the small benefits to the job fo rbeing under paid and over worked. and to be honest thats the opinion of every teacher going. alot of us do it because we know that although we'll never earn much we will at least be looked after in our old age. current retirement age for teachers my age is now apparently 67. the thought of 50 years on the front line does not excite me one bit.
  18. the interior especially places like the handles marked so easily places like the silver parts on the steering wheel and doors scratch easily. the bobbly plastic. the arm rest that was sat too low that you could actually rest your arm on it (for my driving style at least) not major issues but enough to be slow annoyances that grew over time. my new car is 4 years older than my old car and the interior still looks like new. unlike my old zed. all issues that could easily be resolved and i had got stuff to do it, but hadn't got round to it. the zed is a great car, and i'm glad i've owned it and its now part of my car history, but maybe it just wasn't the car for me.
  19. yes is the simple answer not really the thread or forum to go on about it, but happy to say i definitly feel i made the right choice.
  20. there are people in consultancy who are paid alot for a job i could do with my eyes closed, and its because of these that we all get stung. i know of head teachers who have been crap at theri job, but because its so hard to fire someone in teaching unless you catch them stealing or touching children that alot get promoted to an advisory role and get more money (go figure) so you have incompetants telling others how to do there job, it is silly. i agree about the unions as well its also part of the reason i have joined one. i think for now all we'll have are talks, i don't think there will be any action, even if we see job cuts. i think the only time the teachers will walk out is if their pensions are removed. i don't think teaching is one of the worst areas, but you look at the NHS which ahs more managers and consultants than actual doctors and nurses; then you can start to see the waste. i would have preferred to see large cuts in whitehall; removing the red tape that the last muppets all put in; before hitting front line workers. but at the end of the day if it gets us out of the @*!# then its a sacrifice worth paying.
  21. as a public sector worker i don't like my pay freeze, but i do understand why its needed. what i struggle with is that my pay is less than my friends in the private sector. i have slowly been working towards an equal salary compared to some one in the private sector with the same qualifications, time in job, experience etc. my pay stopped moving in 2 years when i hit thresh hold. i thought that the public sector pay freeze was aimed at people in councils and white hall who were on 100k 200k salaries with massive pension payouts. but they seemed to have carpet bombed everyone. i'm not currently a member of a teaching union (naughty i know, but couldn't justify the cost over the last few years) but i know that the 3 main unions in my school have already organised meetings to discuss the current changes. the next couple of years could be interesting. if the front line workers like police, fire, nurses and teachers decide to strike it could see the likes of the 3 day week again. i prsonally don't know what to think and am just glad i have a job and a roof over my head. if times get hard i can always sell the car or take up a 2nd job. if they remove the pension scheme for teachers i can see mass walk outs and people quitting in huge numbers.
  22. belongs to the forum really and as long as it promotes the club thats all that matters.
