  1. i am in the process of looking for a new car, in one shape or other i need 4 seats and a boot; now this is been really interesting and i am enjoying the search. but its thrown a few conundrums. i see myself as a bit of a petrol head pureist so for me the last 10 years have seen mostly RWD cars some mid engines and front engines. the question is am i missing out on anything by completely ignoring the FWD performance market? or should they all be burned and i should only look at RWD or 4WD variants? is FWD the spawn of the devil?

    insurance

it does make you wonder really, i found my insurance was cheaper if i added the wife, if i did it on my own it was most expensive.
  3. been sat on my desk for ages. needs a good home, don't have to use it on the car, you can even use it on your lap top or tool box. £20
  4. this is just the filter and cleaner, not the full kit, might make a usefull spare for someone with the kit already, means you can clean one and use the other. someone else might even one the filter for a custom install of their own. good filter in good condition. filter cleaner is used but about half full
  5. Hi Jim, i tried to find what everyone wanted but i mised your message about colour when i was cutting and it wasn't on the names list like the others, s i ended up cutting it in white; also i don't have any silver in stock at the moment.

  7. power differnece between the 2 is pi$$ all, CAI for noise and engine bay bling panel for numbers
  8. with the zed unless you have access to a good set of ramps i'd get a garage to do it. takes them no more than an hour and about £30 saves you 8 hours; cut hands, swearing, being covered in crap, feeling cold and getting the garage todo it anyway when you round off some nuts, but have to drive their with half the exhaust un attatched as you cant fininsh the job
  9. Sadly its not mate.......actually handles quite well considering its front wheel drive though. The 'warm hatch' Ralliart version is but thats out of price range. is this a lancer pre evo genetics?
  10. isn't ian selling a supercharger system, might be able to get some of these parts off him
  11. they all think we are brain dead, bunch of tards
  12. i like to eat pheasants and rabbits, and i like to shot both, i don't horse ride or fox hunt, but have grown up on farms, its part of life/farm life. rabbits in an arable field do lots of damage, and if kept unchecked breed like.. well... rabbits and the problem soon gets out of hand. same reason i shoot foxes as well. you lot probably wouldn't agree with the method of catching magpies either but hey ho
  13. There is a thread about this somewhere SpursMadDave worked it out.(well think it was him) i'l have search althou im thinking it'l probably take years... guess it wont improve massively maybe a couple mpg tops small improvement, but the biggest gain is the improvemnt in how the car handles and delivers the power, from what others have said it really transforms the car. speak to abbey motorsport
  14. on my favourite tyre website the maxxis seem to come under the budget brand, but that doesn't mean they are crap. think they also sponsor some of the BMW class races as well http://tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Maxxis/ you didn't say what version but the Maxxis MA Z1 Victra seem to do well
