  1. Yeah, I've got that on order as well. Cheers mate.
  2. Hi Guys, trying to replace old for new on my 350z, it's going into Tarmacsportz in January. Is there a better aftermarket replacement for the rear subframe support brace? Or do I have to just order a new one? I've ordered ultra racing w brace and ultra racing front brace, are there any other braces that I need to be aware of? Because I've only just found out about this one! https://share.icloud.com/photos/057jknR0jU03NYM1rXDzp2VjQ
  3. Yeah, I agonise over things when it comes to decisions for the 350z. But just gone ahead and ordered them to be fitted next week, I'm sure they'll do the job.
  4. Also just to say that I don't track the car, so guessing the mps5 tyres would still do the job very well?
  5. Just realised it's the mps5 tyres they've quoted me on, is there anything comparable to the mps4s tyres that I currently have?
  6. Just been quoted £180 per tyre for mps5s on my 350z 18" tyres. Currently running mps4s but apparently mitchelin don't do the front tyres any more on the mps4s. Should I consider the Pirellis instead? Or go with the new mps5s?
  7. Have a look at workshop 12 mate, that's what I'm saving my pennies for.
  8. Cheers mate, hopefully the switch will sort it, as long as it's not the abs modulator as I'm running low on will power right now. 😆
  9. Did you manage to get it sorted mate?
  10. Hi guys, sorry I've not been back to you, mad busy at work. Anyway, got my car back a couple of weeks ago, serviced and Mot as well as the brakes. They did admit that the young mechanic that originally worked on it messed up and didn't top and tail the pads, also broke the block on one of the braided lines. I suspect that he also broke the caliper as it was the same side that the braided line broke on, but can't prove that and they didn't admit to that one. Dave Greenwood eventually stepped in and got everything straight for me. Still got my ABS, ESP off, Traction control light coming on which was happening before the new brake parts were fitted but got a new Nissan brake switch ordered so will hopefully fix the problem. I'm booked in with Tarmac sport in January for more work I want done, so thanks guys for that recommendation, just over an hour drive from me so I'm sure it's worth the trip. Would still recommend lockwood and greenwood to anyone for service and MOT but must admit I was let down by them on this one. Just also want to say another massive thankyou to ZMANALEX who really went out of his way to help me.
  11. Just watched your video mate, did you find out what exhaust was on it?
  12. Yeah, the zed is pretty simple really with electrical issues, Hope you get it sorted mate. 👍
  13. Thanks mate, was starting to forget what it looks like 😆.They've had it for quite a while now, they've had problems trying to fit the new brakes, they broke front caliper and the block on one of the braided lines during fitment. Had it serviced and Mot done as well. Hopefully I'll get it back soon, desperately needs cleaning.
  14. Any idea what type of oil is in the car? Hope you get it sorted anyway.
  15. Yeah I saw that, think it was salvaged from scrap yard, needs a bit if work doing apparently.
  16. I'll keep you guys posted. 👍
  17. No, I drove it back to them the first time. I'll call them in the morning and try and get them to tow it back to the garage.
  18. Cheers mate, I'm going to call lockwood tomorrow and tell them how unhappy I am, see if they'll relook at it. If not I'll go to Tarmac. 👍
  19. After this I'm debating taking it to another garage to be honest. Just they had a reputation for working on the 350s and don't know any other decent garages in my area.
  20. Will that just free up with driving, or do I need to take it back to the garage? It's going in for service and Mot on 27th anyway, so it can stay in the garage until then if need be I guess.
  21. Front two seem very hot, the rears are warm but nothing excessive.
  22. Hi guys, I'm a bit stumped here. Car brakes were stock previously, I've had new Dba T3 discs fitted all round, pfc compound 11 pads on the front, Pfc pads on the rear goodridge braided lines fitted all round, brske fluid flushed and 660 motul brake fluid added . Had a new front left caliper fitted as well all parts supplied by Zmanalex who has been fantastic. The fitting was done at lockwood and greenwood in Ashton who I've always used since I've had the car for service/mot. Drove it back from the garage today and it was like the handbrake was on, if I took my foot off the accelerator the car would very quickly come to a stop. High pitch squeeling whilst driving in lower gears, took in straight back to the garage and they got it on the rack and the mechanic said that the tires were free and the handbrake definitely isnt stuck on. I've just driven it home on the motorway and struggled to get up to 70mph and the car was shuddering eventually it seemed a bit better but when I came off the motorway if still feels the same as it did coming out of the garage. Their was a still a high pitch noise as I was driving in 2nd gear down my road. Car feels and smells very hot like it's been towing a caravan. I know the brakes need bedding in, which the mechanic said might be the reason why the car feels like it's being held back. Is this normal at all? Because it just doesn't feel right to me that if the brakes need bedding in that it can affect the driving of the car?
  23. Anybody got Cobra hfc with milltek exhaust? If so is there much rasp with that setup? Been told there is more chance of passing mot with that setup than berks these days.
  24. Ordering it in black, so should work out.
  25. On holiday, keep sneaking off from the Mrs to try and get it ordered. I'll give it a measure when I get back. Cheers though. 👍
