  1. Cheers for all your help guys, it's much appreciated. 👍
  2. Okay mate, I'll get saving and see how much I can scrape together. 👍
  3. Cheers for that mate, I know alot of people run them and are happy with them.
  4. Currently sitting 17mm front, 15mm rear.
  5. Basically want something that I feel confident in when driving, currently feel like I'm on marshmallows at the moment, but if the shocks are definitely gone then anything will be better. Don't want a massive drop, had 1k in mind, but if it means a bit more saving to get it right I'd rather fo that than dump a grand on something that feels inadequate on the road.
  6. Happy with current drop from the Teins at the moment though, would I have to go lower with the KW V3's?
  7. Think it was on the US forum? Something about the 350z was always meant to run on shocks and springs and never coilovers and that uprated shocks/springs are a better option unless you're paying for High end custom coilovers. So much information was making my head spin in the end, so thought I'd pose the question on here.
  8. Already have whiteline arbs and droplinks mate.
  9. I'll get budgeting for the kwv3's then if that's the case.
  10. I appreciate that this is a topic that's been done to death, but could really do with some feedback before I splash more cash out. Currently running Tein springs with standard shocks with tarmacsportz rear camber arms which were fitted in January, whiteline arbs and droplinks fitted as well. Alignment was done at the same time. Car now is ridiculous bouncy on motorway and getting knocking from rear, guessing my shocks have gone now. I've researched this a bit now, but can't decide whether to get bilstein b6 shocks to go with the tein springs or go coilovers? I've read some people saying that a decent spring and shocks setup is better than any midrange coilovers on the 350z, but I know people run BC's and are very happy with them. I know Ohlins and kwv3's are quality as well, but thought that might be a bit extreme for just road use. I know all opinions are subjective but would really appreciate some help in which direction to go in, before I make an expensive mistake.
  11. Thanks for that, I'll just stick with changing the hubs/bearings then. 👍
  12. Need to change rear hubs/bearings. Is it worth changing the axles whilst I'm in there anyway? I've seen some people upgrade to the 370z axles and Z1 do a complete upgrade package including hubs/bearings. Or do people just tend to do this just for track use?
  13. Cheers mate I'll have a gander 👍
  14. Going with billstein B6 shocks, but any feedback on which top mounts to go with? KYB or oem? Or any other recommendations?
  15. Cheers for that, but turns out it's the exhaust knocking on the plastic cover on the diff. Unfortunately I'll have to put up with it, as it must protect the diff from stone chips.
  16. Just had Tein springs fitted, and Tarmacsportz rear camber arms, with full wheel alignment done. Whiteline arbs and droplinks, front & rear ultra racing braces with new kidney braces, invidia exhaust and cobra hfc's fitted. Can't be alot else that's left that could be making a knocking from the rear other than the shocks 😆. Going in for service tomorrow so hopefully I'll find out if it is the rear shocks.
  17. Think my rear shocks might have gone, hence why I'm asking.
  18. Agreed, roads are getting worse. Constantly have my eyes on surface of the road when I'm driving. Would the B8's be even harsher over bumps than stock though?
  19. I should add that I don't track the car.
  20. Anyone have current experience with these on the 350z? Currently have oem shocks and tein springs. Are they horrendous on potholes etc, worse/better than oem shocks?
  21. Just installed new handbrake from Patrick Galligan (redondoaveb) on Instagram if anyone is interested? Amazing customer service and extremely efficient delivery. Think It makes the interior look more modern.
  22. As the title states, I've still got the old sat nav in place, which is hidden by the cubby lid so doesn't bother me much. However the remote and cradle is sat above the GT4 plaque which I don't like. Guessing it's glued on, can't see any screws. Without marking the plastic underneath, am I best just getting a hairdryer to it, to get rid?
  23. Cheers mate, haven't got a machine polisher so been waxing by hand every week (it's exhausting 😂) hopefully the ceramic spray will save me a bit of bother as well as still protecting the poor quality Nissan paintwork.
