  1. Yeah I saw that, think it was salvaged from scrap yard, needs a bit if work doing apparently.
  2. No, I drove it back to them the first time. I'll call them in the morning and try and get them to tow it back to the garage.
  3. Cheers mate, I'm going to call lockwood tomorrow and tell them how unhappy I am, see if they'll relook at it. If not I'll go to Tarmac. 👍
  4. After this I'm debating taking it to another garage to be honest. Just they had a reputation for working on the 350s and don't know any other decent garages in my area.
  5. Will that just free up with driving, or do I need to take it back to the garage? It's going in for service and Mot on 27th anyway, so it can stay in the garage until then if need be I guess.
  6. Front two seem very hot, the rears are warm but nothing excessive.
  7. Hi guys, I'm a bit stumped here. Car brakes were stock previously, I've had new Dba T3 discs fitted all round, pfc compound 11 pads on the front, Pfc pads on the rear goodridge braided lines fitted all round, brske fluid flushed and 660 motul brake fluid added . Had a new front left caliper fitted as well all parts supplied by Zmanalex who has been fantastic. The fitting was done at lockwood and greenwood in Ashton who I've always used since I've had the car for service/mot. Drove it back from the garage today and it was like the handbrake was on, if I took my foot off the accelerator the car would very quickly come to a stop. High pitch squeeling whilst driving in lower gears, took in straight back to the garage and they got it on the rack and the mechanic said that the tires were free and the handbrake definitely isnt stuck on. I've just driven it home on the motorway and struggled to get up to 70mph and the car was shuddering eventually it seemed a bit better but when I came off the motorway if still feels the same as it did coming out of the garage. Their was a still a high pitch noise as I was driving in 2nd gear down my road. Car feels and smells very hot like it's been towing a caravan. I know the brakes need bedding in, which the mechanic said might be the reason why the car feels like it's being held back. Is this normal at all? Because it just doesn't feel right to me that if the brakes need bedding in that it can affect the driving of the car?
  8. Anybody got Cobra hfc with milltek exhaust? If so is there much rasp with that setup? Been told there is more chance of passing mot with that setup than berks these days.
  9. Ordering it in black, so should work out.
  10. On holiday, keep sneaking off from the Mrs to try and get it ordered. I'll give it a measure when I get back. Cheers though. 👍
  11. Oh sorry, I mean the measurement of the base that's on the car for the antenna to fit to, he'll make the antenna to fit.
  12. Is 0.5 the base measurement? 🤔
  13. Sweet! Cheers again mate. 👍
  14. Probably a very stupid question but lathewerks make a solid aluminium honda s2000 antenna. My question is, will it work seeing as there are no wires in it?
  15. Anyone know if 370z shift knob will fit 350z?
  16. Might have to have a look at them at renewal, got a few mods coming up as well. 👍
  17. Good progress already there mate! Keep up the good work 👍. Zmanalex can help if you need parts.
  18. Anyone know if the alloy wheel caps from GT4 alloy will fit on standard rays?
  19. Perfect, think I'll just remove the board like Alex said. Don't want unnecessary rust under the car. Thanks for all your help guys.
  20. That's great Alex, what do the kidney brackets attatch to if the rear board assembly is removed? Or am I wrong in thinking they attach to it in the first place?
  21. Is it the rear crossmember brace guys? If so I've heard people say it's not structural and can just be removed? But if it is removed, then what do the kidney stay brackets attach to?
  22. This is not my car before someone asks. Just trying to identify the rusty part above the kidney bracket next to the exhaust pipe?
  23. Could be the heat shields on the cats? But I have heard that single mass flywheel can chatter a fair bit too. I'm sure someone with more knowledge than me will be along soon.
