    OBD2

Any advice on iPhone OBD2 reader?
  2. Apologies if I offended you, wasn’t intentional. Apart from mentioning some previous Mcars and the Porsche at no time have I made reference to my my current vehicle collection or any previously owned vehicles. Having previously owner an E92 M3, along with having numerous friends who have owned Supercharged E92 M3 and decided to sell on for four wheel drive Performance cars such as R35 GTRs due to limited traction, I wanted share the information with you to hopefully prevent you from becoming a dissapointed and frustrated owner. However we are all different so hopefully you will enjoy your Supercharged E92 M3 when the opportunity arises.
  3. I Previoisly has an E46 M3, E92 M3 and an M4 competition pack. Everyone who has Supercharged an E90/E92 seems to sell on the car after 6 months. Never met an owner who has kept a supercharged E92, that says it all. However I do also have a 650bhp 911 turbo and Superbikes.
  4. Anyone know the car or know the history of this Car? https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201801112650026?sort=price-desc&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=New&model=370%20Z&make=NISSAN&radius=1500&postcode=gu168rp&advertising-location=at_cars&page=2
  5. The silver flakes as you call them is due to the metal contact during the run in period, nothing to do with the oil. That is the exact reason why I did an oil & filter change on my new Nismo after 1300miles. For reference most high performance cars use 10W40 Normally 5W50 or 10W50 would only be recommended in older, higher mileage engines.
  6. The Caster Angle is adjustable using shims, increasing the Caster Angle increases the stability of the vehicle. Will report back once it’s been adjusted.
  7. Nissan UK confirmed today that Caster Angle is outside tolerance. Their technical department will advise my local HPC on how to adjust the Caster Angle. Hopefully HPC will contact me in the next few days to arrange to undertake the necessary adjustments.
  8. Pleasure, thought it was a bargain when I found it fir that price including postage.
  9. Time dependant I may be able to help. I’ve got a 2018 370 Nismo
  10. At my local Nissan HPC p1 is £119 p2 is £219 p3 is around £279 spark plugs change I think is £199 Therefore at 5 years P2 + spark plugs should be £428 Hope that helps
  11. I’ve got a 911 turbo which is absolutely awesome and 0-60mph in around 2.8secs However I think the Nismo is probably more exciting that any normally aspirated 911 apart from the GT3 and GT3RS. There is no way a Carrera 2S or 4S is with 3 times more than the Nismo. Mid £20s for a 2017 Nismo with 3k miles is a bargain. Bit concerning regarding clutch slipping after 3k miles or so, the original clutch on a previous modified BMW M3 was still going strong after 110k miles. I have however heard of a clutch component failing on another Nismo after 5k miles Be interesting to see how you get on with the tramlining
  12. Totally agree. Was going to buy a cheap used 370z GT, however after test driving a few and then test driving the Nismo the difference is night and day. It’s like comparing a Porsche 911 Carrera to a 911 GT3 RS, they difference in the way the Car feels, handles, accelerates is astounding. After driving the Nismo I had to have one unfortunately. Enjoy the Car.
  13. Enjoy collected mine 3 weeks ago Let me know your thought on the Dunlop GP600 tyres and whether you experience any tramlining
  14. No idea haven’t bought this oil, think it’s a special offer with free delivery.
  15. Has you new Nismo got Bridgestone or Dunlop tyres fitted. Mines got the Dunlop GP600
  16. Ceramic coating is excellent however doesn’t prevent stone chips which is why I went down the rout of PPF instead.
  17. Congrats collected my new 2018 Black Nismo three weeks ago. As previously mentioned check that the shipping spacers on the front springs have been removed. i had the front of the car, mirrors, side skirts and roof covered in XPEL PPF prior to collecting from the dealer. Probable the best £1100 you can spend on the car to retain resale value as these cars otherwise suffer from stone chips. The alignment was also out on my car which I got Nissan to adjust last week. Otherwise just the obvious checks such as the paintwork and wheels prior to signing for the Car. Which dealer did you purchase the car from? Will be interested to hear your feedback on the Dunlop GP600 tyre as I’m experiencing slight tramlining with my Car. Enjoy the new Car Also after the 1200 mile run in period I had the oil & filter changed at my local NissanHPC Not part of the servicing schedule however from previous experience with high performance cars and race Bikes thought it was a no brainier for £85..
  18. Correct https://h-dev.co.uk/product/nissan-370z-p1-service-pack/?v=79cba1185463 Horsham also recommend Fuchs XTR 5w30 which seems incredibly cheap at £17 for 5 litres https://www.amazon.co.uk/Titan-TITAN-XTR-5W30-5L/dp/B00MV268N8
  19. Just an quick update, as I expected Nissan UK have agreed to a full refund for the cost of the 4 wheel alignment. They are also going to investigate the issue with the camber and offer a solution within 48 hours. Great result.
  20. Vast improvement in handling, however Car still tramlines to a certain degree which must be caused by the rigid tyre walls of the Dunlop GP600 Tyres. I do not experience any tramlining with my BMW M4 CP which has 245/35/20 Michelin MPSS on the front.
