Haven't done any meets this year apart from Japfest and need to do something in the area. Would anyone be up for a meet somewhere as the sun is coming out a bit more? Up for suggestions of whereabouts!

Got a japspeed y pipe mated to a cobra resonated and want a bit more sound, but don't want to chop the centre resonator out! On a budget as I've already spent a fair bit on the Z this year... bloody cars

Looks awesome! Bet your neighbours are going to love you! What powerflow did you get this done at? Would you know if they do custom high flow cats as I want a bit more noise from my resonated cobra?

I hope you know that the zed will take near on 5 litres of oil for an engine oil change? The molyslip comes in a tube with a screw on nozzle so can be squeezed straight in the gearbox easily enough, along with nearly 3 litres of gear oil. You could mix the molyslip with the oil in the bottle too if you wanted but it will all get mixed up anyway Ask if you need anymore help

Think mine was £179 came with a nice heat shield too, seems quite well made. The mishimoto website said gains of 11hp and 13tq on standard map but I think that's a bit of marketing bs... People seem to like the popcharger intake, think they're only £145 and they're one of the loudest ones

No way 30hp for any of the zeds no matter what CAI you get. As veeg33 said, you'll be lucky for 5-10hp gain after a remap (uprev). Plenum spacer seems to be the best bang for bung mod I've got a mishimoto induction kit just for the deeper intake sound

My '54 Z with 69k miles has just started to click, unsure if it has done before... But will be trying this as soon as I get a chance as it seems to have good success rates! Anyone had the click come back??? If you go back through the post (maybe on the first page) there's a photo showing the two areas to grease, it's the collar of the shaft not the actual spline that needs greasing which means it doesn't need to be removed completely. I've been recommended a good quality EP2 grease which is nice and thick, not like the type of thin stuff most garages use. Use normal socket set tools to get the wheel off (+ locking wheel nut key obviously) and then a 32mm (1 1/4") socket for the centre nut once the wheel is off. If you have the basic tools and a basic knowledge of using a socket set then you should be fine!

I was looking at these clutch/flywheels too. Seems a good price but mixed reviews? Hopefully others have something to say about them

My dad runs them Hankook's on his BMW M's and he swears by them! I am just after the best tyres for the value and I couldn't justify the price differences on some! But I don't have any experience, so that's why I want to hear from you guys and what you have and your opinions.

If people really think that way about the MPSS then I guess I'll have to give them a go! Haven't heard a bad word against them and it's reassuring that they last as well as perform

The mishimoto fans are noisy, very noticeable if stuck in traffic Hate seeing azure blue zeds like this, makes me wish I got one Lovely zed!

Never bought tyres for a car ever... so I know very little about what to look for and brands etc, so I need some help! When the time comes (which won't be long), I will be changing all 4 tyres on the 350z, 18's Rays. I will not be tracking the car at all it will be a daily driver. I've got some quotes on a couple of sets of tyres as followed (including fitting), what do you guys think? Avon ZZ5's £373 Kumho Ecsta Le Sport KU39 £423 Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 £456 Bridgestone Potenza RE050A £472 MPSS4's £567 I know MPSS seem to be an all round favourite but are they really £200 better than avons?!

Yours is a DE Hahha well what do I know, hey! â˜ºï¸ How many 2004 models are there ? I thought it was just GT spec and non GT in the UK didn't think DE and HR models came in until later on Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk DE and HR are the engine types, GT is a trim level. The DE and HR have a different shaped head unit, so a HR standard unit won't fit in a DE. Maybe this is just the model year. Have pm'd twice in case you didn't get my first message
