  1. I did, but it only lasted 5 mins before it started popping again, and now it pops once then cuts out completely until I turn the ignition back a notch. Might try redoing it though.... Does anyone know where the sub amp is grounded?
  2. back. That Nismo is one hell of sexy car.
  3. Missing extra systems, not child friendly. and anyone in the back is fuarked. (None of which should matter whatsoever to a Mustang owner.)
  4. Damn that sucks, hope it gets sorted quickly and smoothly. Any idea what the cause was?
  5. Giving this a little bump. Will probably still look to replacing the amp, but depending on the cause of the problem, I don't want another amp to get damaged. Any electronics experts?
  6. Bit of a trek away in Malton, but Atkin is highly recommended and worth the journey (so I hear). http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/158-atkin-motor-engineers/
  7. I know, but I was curious so went to find out anyway
  8. Missed out on the TSB current account cashback cos I've had my accounts for years, but finally got the Platinum credit card sorted with 1% cashback on the first £500 (so basically £5 a month).
  9. The video just popped up on my FB feed. Out of curiosity, what do hyper cars get or do they not participate? (E.g. Koenigsegg)
  10. Another good alternative might be the guys who wrapped Ian's Z, Ultimate Wraps.
  11. +1 for Valet Magic then. Never used them personally, but they somehow made Dan's 6er look awesome, which is no mean feat. And for a Southerner to be willing to come up North, even hypothetically, you know they've gotta be good.
  12. Maybe they've never used ebay before, but have a car to sell and someone recommended they list it there? I haven't checked, but there is a chance it's also on Gumtree and Autotrader etc too. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but most people wouldn't think that far ahead and start building up a reputable ebay account just so they can sell a car in a few months time :/
  13. Depends on the specifics, but an aftermarket exhaust should be a good thing.
  14. Joined ebay yesterday, but not necessarily a scam, everyone has to start somewhere... Could be typo, or maybe they thought they were providing a start price for an auction.
  15. I thought the blue looked great... Can't tell much from pictures, much easier in person... However that exhaust looks aftermarket to me? Might be wrong, someone will be along to confirm I'm sure.
  16. That'll be this one then... Looks like it had a front lip at one point
  17. Ordered some samples of foamed backed leather and perforated stuff which sounds ideal. No idea what it'll be like, but it's a start Or there is always this as an alternative...
  18. I dunno, if you skip to the end of that video the result looks pretty decent to me - no huge difference to the images you posted. I could remove the OEM leather from the wheel as in that Instructables guide, which also acts as a good template, but I'd then have to use extra material to pad it out again and I'd end up with the same result as just covering it... It looks very fiddly and time consuming, requiring a lot of patience, but honestly not particularly technically difficult.
  19. "Riveted" is the word I'd use... or industrial?
