I'd stick with 5w30. Some people prefer 5w40 and 10w40, but it doesn't really make much difference.

Assuming you don't have an oil leak (check for puddles under the car), that's gotta be an incorrect reading...? Not to be patronising, but you are checking the oil on a flat surface after letting it cool down (overnight preferably), right? Even the Rev-up DE, which is known for being rather thirsty with oil, shouldn't be that bad. That oil should be fine. Any synthetic 5w/30 is okay, some are better than others, but not that significantly.

Easier to just right click it, "copy image", paste. Also the preview function lets you test without showing off all your fails.

Have you priced up the leather? I know from experience that UK HIde aren't keen on selling part hides so you could well end up paying a lot of money for far more leather than you actually need! Perhaps you'd be better asking Jack or another trimmer if they have some spare that they'd like to sell you. Nope, not got that far yet. Still in the concept stages and all my free time is being taken up making louvres. Thanks for the heads up.

Cheers, pretty happy with it. Design is slightly different to the Zakustech in a few ways. E.g. the blades on the Zakustech don't go to the edges of the window, there's those flat panels running down the sides.

A massive ballache. Not just accidentally clipping a nut, but a full on Chuck Norris roundhouse kick to the testicles. My understanding is that Zakustech refuse to ship outside of the US and they can barely keep up with the demand over there? You wouldn't want to commision my time as I've been at it for weeks trying to get everything perfect. However, I am considering making more to sell, so you might be in luck. IIRC you're pretty local so there'd be no hassle having to ship it either.

When I was toying with quotes, it was actually cheaper to say I parked it on the driveway than the garage, As for named drivers, they never have to drive the car. It's only fronting if you lie about who the main driver is.
