  1. This weekends mission - to fit the intercooler system and oil cooler on, which is this little lot: Then off with the front bumper, which was a real sod as it has been previously bodged back on with various non standard screws Then on with the oil radiator (funny nothing fits as straight forward as the instruction videos) Next on with the intercooler rad in front of the oil rad again Also fitted the expansion tank and pump for the intercooler and moved the car expansion tank to it's new position in front of the nearside front wheel Tomorrow I have the sandwich plate to fit and hoses and pipes to finish connecting; plus a bit of wiring if there's time.
  2. Well here goes. I thought I'd document the fitting of my Stillen supercharger (and related mods) as not much info seems to be about on these. I managed to pick up the very last DE/Revup charger from Stillen through Tarmac, which is a 'tuner' model (i.e. doesn't come with the piggy-back ECU etc.). So my shopping list for the project includes: Stillen supercharger with intercooler. Mishimoto oil radiator Deatschwerks DW200 fuel pump Deatschwerks 440cc injectors Stillen high capacity oil sump (already fitted) Prosport oil temp gauge Prosport air/fuel wideband gauge Stillen bonnet cowl Tuning will be required afterwards but I haven't decided where this will be as yet. First step was fitting the cowl to my carbon fibre bonnet. Deep breath and cut a large hole... Cowl was then bolted and bonded to the bonnet with Tigerseal Finally resprayed and fitted to zed.

  4. You can still get them off, it's just harder. Tigerseal is great but when I bought my secondhand rear louvre it came with the rear window attached to it bonded with the stuff. It was easier to break the window and mechanically remove the sealant than trying to cut it off!
  5. Sorry folks but I'm pretty sure he's not doing this anymore
  6. Mine are 3M'd on and are fine. Tigerseal is good but what if you want to get them off again in the future!?

    Feather Wrap...

    Does it lay eggs?
  8. I recently declared mods and Hastings Direct said the underwriters would insure the vehicle anymore! We're only talking coil-overs, wheels, exhaust and alike.
  9. My Halfords didn't know what a 350z was
  10. My Revup can 'drink' a litre of oil on a long run.
  11. Probably will be a Revup. A HR would have twin air intakes and 7500 redline
  12. there is no ecu with mine as it is the 'tuner' model which is best for the revup engine. HENCE I will be fitting larger injectors etc and will get a full ecu tune.
  13. Thanks for the reply Blade. I have in fact now bought a stage 3 Stillen (tuner model) and I'm waiting to fit it along with supporting mods. Did you fit yours yourself? I am planning to do mine and then get it tuned. I guess from your location you are the opposite end of the UK to me.
  14. Pretty easy to do. Just use the rolled cardboard trick to stop the bolts from dropping into the door liner.
  15. Reminds me of the subway that goes under the Colossium, That's causing plenty of damage to the ancient munument
  16. I fitted mine last week with clear silicone. Stuck on fine and has had a good run up the M5. What make of louvre are you fitting. I've had a few issues with the 'slats' rattling against the glass!
  17. They scratch real easy but I patched mine up with Halfords matt black spray and seems perfect match :-)
  18. It was 2nd hand. One of the US, one of the Louvregang ones.
  19. Nice one. Picking mine up tomorrow morning.
  20. Managed to tidy up the extenders for the rear coilovers.
  21. Not sure if you are aware that the bluetooth adaptor will not work with most modern phones.
