The V3 350 I tried was such a late boost (5000rpm). Just didn't seem beneficial for road use and I'm not intending to track my car. Don't need full boost low/mid (potential to damage engine) but some would be good. Just want to compare the two systems at this stage. Plus I do love the Stillen whine too ;-)

Yes the Stillen roots charger for the 350 DE. Not the Stillen/Vortec one for the HR or 370. The one above in the YT video is the first evidence of one in the UK I've seen!

I have been thinking about this too. I'd be interested in one (depending on cost).

As I understand it tints are illegal but the mesh Fly Eyes are not. They definitely block out more than the 5% of light the suppliers say. Still they are cheap so there's not a lot to loose and I've not has any problems with any melting. http://www.flyeyeskit.co.uk/

Anyone in the Chard area today with an 05 black zed. Spotted a couple of times today. Not many of us in south Somerset.

According to Haynes, small cracks across the belt should not be an issue. As long as the cracks aren't linear or the grooves aren't chewed up.

Hi Chris - yes I did email you a few weeks ago. As above the Vortec is not what I'm looking for as got to test drive one. The boost didn't kick in to close to 5000rpm! Need something with a boost at low to mid revs but would like to try before I buy! Plus it sounds great from the YT vids I have looked at. I have a grinder so I'm happy to cut up that lovely Seibon CF bonnet you sold me ;-)

Thinking of going FI on by Rev-up 350z and was wondered if any UK zedders have the Stillen system? I know these are not so popular but I tried a Vortec zed and found the boost comes too far up the revs for what I'm looking for. Would be great to see one for myself before deciding on which direction to take.

AS far as I know you'll need to upgrade your head unit to something android compatible

Used Zero Limits carbon fibre bonnet very similar to TS style for DE models. Surface crack in front (hardly noticeable - see photo). Price £500 collected from Somerset. New Phase 2 30mm wheel spacers with hub rings. Still unopened £80 posted. Used pair external door handles. Aluminium bases (rather than the plastic ones). In good working order from my zed. SOLD

Horsham for an Uprev or there is Top Gear in Bridport (up the A35 via Honiton). Not used Top Gear for tuning myself but they do have a dyno.
