6. only had my car since june mate and its always been there .its more noticeable since having the resonator removed from my decat milltek exhaust system so no heat sheilds causing the problem. iv also checked the back box for rotten baffels etc but that's fine too .im thinking clutch or gear box ....hoping its not the latter tbh
7. my 04 DE does this to. had it in for MOT today and asked the mech to check for anything loose while he was there . couldn't find the cause and mines more noticeable on hard deceleration .driving steady below 3k and slowing slowly it doesnt seem to do it
8. any idea guys where i can source the modded light's for the rear bumper .ie the ones with no red lens in them and duel reverse lights
9. mmm my biggest worry was people would keep thinking im flashing my lights ..when driving behind other cars I could see clearly the lights flickering in their rear bumpers etc .. someone on CCUK sudgested it was my earth strap from battery..he seamed pretty certain but I sold it and bought the zed ..might be worth checking earthing problems
10. hope you get to find out what it is mate. i had this problem with my Toyota celica and posted on the celica forum at the time but never found out what it was . very annoying so can sympathise with you .

15. hah cheers pal ..was just actually looking at sonax on ebay but wasn't sure if it would make the silver pop more than halfrauds stuff
16. hey guy's ..im sick of buying the tiny 500ml simoniz quick detailer from halfords every 2 weeks . any suggestions where i can buy a 5l bulk tub and also which brand to go for . dnt want anything stupidly priced as is for WV2 paint work and doesnt seem to gloss up like other colour cars iv used it on .tia * iv tried dodo juice but found it no better than simoniz stuff on my shade of silver/grey
17. mmmm i was thinking same ..sounds like rattle is coming from mid to front end ....hope its nothing gearbox related or serious
18. no it has proper aps decat pipes fitted..basically my miltek system is straight through barring the back box
19. as far as i know i only have the back box now and that seems okay ...will give it a few bangs tomoz and see if outs rattling
20. thx im gona try get under car next week and hopefully find the cause ..ill see if cat shields are still in place
21. i have this annoying rattle on high revs acceleration and deceleration. sounds like a loose heat shield but cant pinpoint where . my car has a full miltek system thats been decatted and just had the resonator removed too . the noise was present before i had the resonator took off but seems louder now . any ideas guys ? oh and the rattle is a tinny noise that increases with the revs ..especially on deceleration
22. when i bought my previous car back in 2011 i decided to drop it off with a well know local mechanic for the drives shafts doing. went to pick the car up the following day only to find no mechanic or car . waited out side his house for an hour when one of neighbors came out to tell me .... "steve has been arrested" apparently steve forgot to tell me he was a banned driver and decided to go for parts in my car only to be spotted by a local cop who recognised him and gave chase. luckily he admitted that i had no knowledge of his driving ban and i got my car back. 1 month later (while court pending)he decided to take a customers car to a local pub . was spotted in the pub by an off duty cop and when leaving the pub decided to take a police chase wrecking the customers car. i feel i got off lightly but still was p1ssed off that he even risked taking my car with no licence or insurance
23. you've chose the same set up that I've just purchased from Adrian.had them on 3 weeks now and very happy . they work very well hot or cold and bite alot harder than the standard pads did
24. In that case and if you're not happy I'd say bide your time, start listening to some other Zeds exhausts before ultimately getting yourself a new system. You'll easily (imo) be able to sell yours on to recoup some of the cost and you'll be a lot happier once you find one that makes the noise you want. Personally I've always loved the way the Motordyne system sounds.... yea thats an idea im toying with atm .tbh the vid clip sounds not to dissimilar to what my decat/deresonated miltek sounds like now ..a bit to screamy .love the loudness but prefer a deeper note .it may grow on me but ill still be on the look out for something better
25. Very interested to konw what the effect was! Keep us posted!! quite on the fence tbh.yes its a lot louder but more raspy . sounds more like my previous high reving 4 cylinder than a V6 now ...iv kept the resonator just incase
