about to go and pick up the 350 now ..cant wait to see if she sounds better

I think it will definitely give you the desired effect, ...imo it should sound a fair bit louder without the resonator/silencer in the way. I had a straight through exhaust system before on an Impreza I had and that was just stupidly loud (granted different cars but the same principal). now there's an awesome sounding motor.farther in law has R type scooby and that thing sounds amazing ...couldn't even hear my milltek when following him the other day on A64 ...crazy loud them things but in a good way hah

i have looked on millteks site and scoured ebay but cant find an unrensonated mid pipe for the 350z ...plenty for vauxhall ..vw etc ...weird

okay thanks ZEUS .ill have a look on milltek website but with a window of 4 days i doubt ill get one in time ..plus i recon a genuine milltek will be silly money for whats basically a straight bit of pipe If you have a custom exhaust place like "Long Life" or similar they'll easily be able to sort this out for you. They'll either want to sell you a complete piece to replace it or just cut & modify your current mid section but either way I can't see it costing a lot of money to do. Good luck. yea i have spoken to a garage owner tonight who said he would just cut it out and weld a 3" straight pipe in place .just hope it gives the desired effect and doesnt end up tinny sounding

mmmm any idea on how I find out the correct pipe diameter needed to replace resonator? ...and yea seats already balmed ready for those oooo err moments haha

hi guys can someone please tell me what part ( circled ) this is on my milltek system . iv been reading about resonated and non resonated systems but can find out which part it is.

cheers ill bear this in mind .are the ones mentioned on par price wise with my miltek ? if so a swap would be preferable and are the cobra and scorpion raspy or a deep note like the miltek

ahh guess its as loud as its going to get then .do you recon an uprev map would alter it ? I've just had plenum spacer done so uprev next on my list

hi guys . when i bought my 350z in june the previous owner told me it had APN ? / APR ? decats. (cant remember the correct name) any how are these just less restrictive cats or proper straight through pipes? reason i ask is im looking to make my miltek system a bit louder at lower rpm

Yes AFAIK. Just tell him you have a "2004 Nissan 350Z coupe" and you want to buy a full set of wheel nuts to suit your Rota 19" alloys. Mitz will know what you need. thanks matey ill do that.may even have a change of colour if there's anything that would suit

Wheel nuts are cheap enough to buy new and from a safety point of view very important so from what you've just said I'd bin the lot of them then imo. Mitz could do you a full brand new set and I'm sure it wouldn't be much money, ...maybe £25 or so at a guess for a decent set. Give him a PM on here or quickest way would be to ring him. The bolt will be OEM spec AFAIK so Alex or Emperor Tuning should be able to sort you out there. The nut to suit the Rota alloys will most likely have a slightly different taper than OEM to suit the alloys. If either of the above doesn't have those then I'd try Mitz@Cougar Store as he supplied my wheel nuts for the Rotas I used to have on my Zed. okay im having real difficulties getting these parts sorted and pms to traders are so slow on replying . im needing.... bushing for OSF lower suspension arm NSR wheel bearing and hub 1x wheel bolt 1x wheel nut OSF wheel arch liner ( part closest to bumper) the nut and bolt are for 19" rota alloys if that makes a difference. also the garage said i need the hub as well as the bearing ( what ever that means)

If you haven't already got one from Adrian, (D1 spec gt throttle controller) then do so, best plug and play mod ever. Really livens the throttle response up..... even after the uprev remap. Best £100ish pounds you'll spend. Whap it onto sport 10 and bingo mmmm will have to look into these. ..tbh iv had the plenum spacer fitted and havnt noticed a damn thing either in performance or sound so hope a remap helps
