Yeah thats the model my brother test drove but he wanted a 5 seater and felt it was a bit early in the lifecycle....Model Y will be around £40,000 apparently its smaller than the X
-
hahaha....North West London... its all finance and amazing credit. Makes dreams come true. If you can pay anything up to £3000 per month the possibilities Lots of people around here put it as a business expense hence high amount of Trucks and SUVs Not many cars you dont see no need to go to central. Ive seen F12, GTR Nismo, GTR, huracans, mclarens 911 Turbo S.... Theres a Bugatti Veyron in Wembley....also Topaz is local so you get GT2RS and co passing by on the 406 These are the local guys see them regularly. They live in the hills lol Huge amount of Teslas, Kia Niros, Leafs etc around here too. Then you see a 370 or 350 and its breaking necks dont forget car rental is up since lockdown and many people have friends in that area.
-
Seen a few. Not much difference from a Panamera. Theyre okay. Think my brother still wants one but model x will have to do for now. One or two people have had issues with theirs having to return to dealers. Nothing Porsche cant fix right...
-
They want £435 for a 30,000 mile service. Seems a bit steep. Maybe these are London prices. Service while you wait I can only think Spark plugs and gearbox oil may be changed or I may end up paying less if those dont need doing. Couldn't get through to London West RRG...Phone lines are crap. Any ideas? As theyre the only HPCs i can see around here
-
Yes for sure, things are up and down. Not sure how long I can keep the car. But hopefully soon. Im in North West London. Where are you based?
-
that me, changing name constantly. Lol....bought another 370 nismo November last year. Drove it almost everyday during lockdown
-
lol what the ZED should be minus the V8. A 2+2 V8 is not a bad thing for a GT version. What a shame it never reached the market. Still needs an exhaust to open it up though
-
Was it originally a V8? Could be a 800 hp dual motor 130k Warp speed
-
Maserati wow...Love that look. Concept is nice.

So far what do we know about import possibilities and who car reliably source a car. I think id wait over a year or two for depreciation to occur and bag one at an ambitious £30k with 20,000 miles maybe. Obviously shipping would be a container as you dont want pirates getting their grubby hands on the merchandise. What are the costs involved for shipping plus UK conversion of lights/SVA This is just for general knowledge really things can change. My only experience of import was my moms ML320 V6 from US. Roll on Roll Off costs were around £2500 I think.

According to the business update from early in the year they want to refresh models every 3.5-4 years as opposed to 10 years. It may be a facelift but they need a different approach to counter low sales in this segment. Toyota are looking to end the current Supra by 2024-2025 with the GRM version.
-
I think we should steer the discussion onto import possibilities and the chances of a late introduction into the UK. Like the Philippines who only got the car this year. Only thing is I dont think this model will last longer than 5 years due to platform changes towards petrol hybrid and electric.
-
Yes nice Mustang. Good colour.

https://www.autoevolution.com/news/hyundai-eyeing-electric-hot-hatchback-with-rwd-prototype-packs-800-hp-149282.html Impressive figures. Under 3 seconds acceleration They just need to add some gearing and sound and walla Hyundai plan to release 44 eco friendly models in future. A hard sell for enthusiasts but what if this is the new theme. Borderline criminal power and performance for normal car prices
-
Then they may be taken more seriously....They would probably tout it as a Z replacement. Since Z is heading towards a certain death. It would cost £50,000 - £80,000 at the moment due to the dual 120kwh batteries and 3.4 sec launch Its a research car for Formula E and future E Sports cars. Which may come to Europe. They are better off making a four door version for entry and selling to families since 5 SUVs aren't enough The Leaf sports car may become a reality. The people who care about Z probably would only want one as a toy and not a serious weekend car
-
Yes no suprises. How about the fact my older brother spent £85,000 cold notes on a model X instead of waiting on a £37,000 model Y. It arrived, the doors even went up on a sunday but guess what. Paint finish poor. panels misaligned, interior fittings poor, welds obvious. An independent bodyshop called it the worst example of a car theyd ever seen It had to go back 2 days later and another one ordered. It may be a one off. oh wait....its common knowledge Nissan paint cant touch Honda or Kia. The thicker so called anti scratch paint from Kia holds up well. Its not pearl or shiny but its solid like the older cars.
-
Honda E coupe is still on the horizon and may be called CRZ apparently. Guys guys we need to buy more Leafs apparently. Cant they make the leaf look like a mercedes EQS? They might outsell poor build quality Tesla.
-
is that a real thing? If Kia make a GT coupe even petrol/hybrid v6 version that would be great.
-
By late next year the Manual Supra may be available locally with around 410hp. I guess it depends on preference. I wouldn't rule out a manual ex demo or used Supra over the hassle and costs of importing a Z. The Z will probably depreciate quicker making it tempting for import. If it releases at £50,000 in Japan. I can see it being £40,000 or less after 10 months and 5000 miles. As time goes on local market will realise the costs and start selling them.
-
Well makes sense. Just that we aren't in EU after December. Then apparently theres the Paris Agreement. But who really cares. No one takes France seriously anyway. Im just kidding its probably just a name for a piece of paper....to impress greta and her fanclub....Besides those pesky Petrol cars and farty smelling diesels are not going anywhere anytime soon. Nissan did a european deal with uber regarding the leaf I think so should help push more out. Theres also the threat of people converting 370Z to 700hp Electric vehicles for 15k. So anything is possible
-
Apparently the designer came from Kia or someone. Not sure how true. I was looking at old 370 nismo threads. I was just wondering why the 370 nismo mark 1 took years to get here? What happened?
-
So anyone here interested in purchasing this car via importation? Or is it too early to ask the question? Or is it better to wait a year or two and look at used Zs for a much lower price minus -£10-£15,000 from RRP in JDM?
-
The new M cars are available in Manual from March 2021. The Supra should follow suit at the end of the year maybe
-
Yeah we have in 2019 I think. Didn't have a Z then though. The cleaning you get used to it if you do it regularly. Its back breaking but worth it
