  1. They're Work Meister 3P's. Rota D2 are one piece so it's obvious the difference Despite the fact that I did allow for the possibility (iI could have sworn I've seen screws on the Rotas ), I offer a further apology to the owner of what are no doubt, epic, wheels. As I said before, respect. I've got a arlon mariana blue wrap planned soon which those wheels would suit like a black eye on Boris Johnson. I also own a set of Miester S1's so the shape of the spokes looks noticeably different to me, maybe not so much to someone who doesn't own them and see them every day!

  3. I presume this is Nov 2nd day? I'll be there with a few mates, come give me a shout if you see me there. I use the standard Ray's for now, looking to get something a bit flashier with better offset in the future though. Nowt wrong with the Rays though, as people say they're cheap enough for you to no care if you bend them.
  4. Yee why not? 1) Apoc124 2) MarkSt (6:30??) 3) SUPRAWOOKIE (will come at 6:30 so MarkSt isn't lonely!) 4) Andy_Muxlow 5) Matt89 6) OliverB 7) Nate
  5. I recently went to Japan with a friend for a few weeks to appreciate the car culture. I've just uploaded part 1, please check the video out and subscribe too see part 2 at Ebisu Matsuri when its out! Any shares much appreciated.
  6. Pointless question, each car is different. I'd rather buy a car with 100k & 8 enthusiast owners than a car with 50k & 2 people who have no idea what they're doing.
  7. Bollocks, forgot about this haha! Picked up a new rear bumper though so not all bad. Hope the meet went well!
  8. Had a little crease in it but I pushed it out, will give it a little heat tomorrow see if I can get it perfect. Still way nicer than my current bumper, thanks again lad.
  9. Cheers mate, I can confirm that a rear bumper does fit in a 350 just about! haha
  10. steve come on! just do it, you cant have work wheels and not be low....... This ^ haha Car is looking amazing man, will you be at the STL event? (if you know then you know haha)
  11. Glad I bailed on this, doesn't look promising...
  12. Just a quick few images from a few weeks back to show how the car sits currently, got a few more things planned to get it looking how I want it though. Also a couple of pictures from my drift day at rockingham!
  13. Nevermind, managed to do a different way without using the bleed nipple underneath. Cheers for the reply tho mate
  14. Any help please lads, surely someones done this at some point?
  15. So yeah. Little explanation of my inspiration and plans for the car. Basically I'm a big fan of the Japanese/US low & stylish drift cars so that's the kind of look I'll be going for. I'm sure you guys probably know most of these cars already but they're awesome so I'll post them up anyway! I've got my first drift day in the Z coming up shortly so there will be plenty of images/video's from that hopefully coming soon! Also got more photo's from a little shoot I did the other day which I'll post at some point Feel free to follow me on insta btw - @nathanpoole
  16. Can anyone tell me what dia hose I need for clutch bleeding?
  17. Thanks man, yeah seen the odd thread about! Cheers! Near Daventry (first post ) Nice one! Any tips regarding drifting 350's? Any little tricks i should know?

  19. So yeah. Was pretty set on a black Z, didn't mind paying the extra money for the right colour! Eventually found a nice condition 55 plate DE. Cleaned it, drove it, enoyed it. The my dream wheels came up for sale on driftworks, for a stupidly low price! Thankfully I got in quick and managed to go down the next day to collect some 18x9.5 Work Meister S1's, midnight purple centre's with polished lip. Won't give away how much I paid, but if ever want to sell them I will be making a tidy profit Gave em a clean up when I got home and they came out even nicer! Lips need a refurb at some point (probably when i take them off for winter) but it doesn't bother me for now. Once I got these on, I knew i needed coilovers pretty asap to kill the dire arch gap. Considered air briefly, but not seen a massive amount of people drift on air so not something i wanted to look into yet. Mate works at Driftworks so got him to hook me up with some HSD dualtechs to get it lowered. Here is some pics after lowering. Will do another post shortly with some more recent pics and bit of an overview of my inspirations as well as upcoming drift days. Comments appreciated, fair play if you read it all! haha
  20. Hi guys, So bought my 350Z about 6 months ago, with mods commencing within the last 2 months. Felt it was about time to start a little thread to document stuff. So little intro, I'm Nate (Nathan, either is fine) I'm 21, live in a small village called Byfield near Daventry, Northants. I currently work for JLR & spend most of my weekend doing car stuff with mates & playing/watching football. May as well do a little car history as well, seems i've had more cars than most people my age haha! My first car was a yaris 1.0, sick little car, but didn't get modified so not worth posting! I went on to buy a 1.6 civic sport at 18, loved this thing and spent far to much money on it. Got properly into Honda's (if you hate honda's you need to re-evaluate your status as a petrol head, you'll understand when you drive one hahah!) so ended up swapping my civic for a red DC2 Type R. This was probably my favourite car I've owned so far, just a lot of hassle to daily/maintain so I had to get rid, plus I wanted to get into drifting after driving up to Driftland for Finalboss. This is where it doesn't make so much sense, I got a lot of weird comments on this! So basically I wanted to buy an S13 200sx, but didnt want to daily it. So I bought another blue EP2 civic as a daily, the first one was awesome, why not?! Again, spent far to much money on it, but it was good on fuel & looked cool so why not? I also bought a red 200sx S13, it was shite, broke down a lot, did a bit of drifting but generally was very depressing owning it. So then I sold both of those. Lost money on the S13, nearly broke even on the Civic (I have no idea how, someone paid me £3150 for a 100hp civic! XD) Basically wanted a daily drift car instead, something reliable enough to be a daily would mean I wouldn't be breaking down every time I drove to a track for skids! Wanted an S15 Spec R initially but was a bit out of my budget for a decent spec one, plus I'm not sure it'd be that great as a daily. Always been a big fan of 350's so started looking around to see what I could get for my money, budgeted around 6500 from the sale of my two other cars... This first post is long, wasn't planning on it being this detailed haha. I'll continue onto the Z part in the next post.

    Exhaust clearence

Thanks mate, between you and Mitz I'm pretty certain that true duals are lower than standard style exhaust. Will go speak to some custom places & see what they can do!

    Exhaust clearence

    Thanks mate, will do

    Exhaust clearence

I'm not 100% on the layout/routing of the true dual exhaust. Would you guys say in general that the invidia/ARK have better or worse clearance than an OEM/scorpion etc?
