  1. If you plan on going vaguely low the dualtech every time, the monopro's need new shorter rear springs to get the car anywhere near to the ground. I've been very impressed with my dualtechs for the price (my car is daily driven & drifted).
  2. Not sure how else you lot thought that wide bodies work? They're not just for show, it's so you can fit massive wheels!
  3. All the gloss black trim looks really nice! want to have a proper look at this at a meet sometime.
  4. Just aesthetic damage from some overly brave drifting on the weekend. Gonna use it as an excuse for a new look
  5. Car aint in any kind of shape to attend a meet unfortunately. I'll be along to some time next year with a new look!
  6. my DTE reading was terribly inaccurate, as was the fuel gauge, so no, I normally didn't have anything showing! Also just like to add at this point that my new car (BMW 330d) has more torque than a zed, but manages 45mpg... That's cos it's diesel though..
  7. I'm quite happy then, mine hovered around 27mpg before I started drifting it. A full day of like 5mpg does bring my average down a lot unfortunately.
  8. I'll definitly look into this, I take it torque pro is the name of the app?
  9. He has! he just chose to ignore them. I'll only ignore something if I feel its not relevant, like most of your posts in this thread. Please just leave it out....
  10. Ignore the condescending answers and the ones that dont make sense, not the first time on here. Im not aware of any pressure problems in the 350's used by the driftschools, and Ive not ever had any problems running a standard sump on trackdays or the occasional drift session either. I dont know anyone running a baffled sump on a VQ either. First thing Id do is get a decent read on what the oil temps and pressures are, get a bluetooth OBD device and use your phone to monitor. I dont think the oil getting hot/thin would cause that much of a pressure drop, I think your oil pump might have some issues but you wont see it until you get decent measurements. Either way, I think the issue is specific to your car and not a 350Z "thing" Thanks, I'll try the OBD device first to get an idea of my temps & pressures, I take it oil pump issues aren't common on a 350Z then? I apologise for anyone not 'impressed' by my attitude, however I was just not convinced by the constant baffled sump comments when I was reasonably sure that wasn't going to fix the issue. No hard feeling please, I'd rather not be hated on here!
  11. Thanks to all the vaguely serious answers from people. I'll look into it. I'll ask for this thread to get locked now before we get any more irrelevant "drifting is lame" comments. Thanks.
  12. Fuchs 5/40 No, looking into them now, reckon I will pick one up yeah EDC track, some 3rd, mostly top of 2nd yeah oil was full, checked it once the car cooled over lunch and was still full yeah new oil (K&N) filter & oil like 1.5k miles ago
  13. You'll have to give me a clue with that one mate, I appear to have missed the joke...
  14. I appreciate some people have more experience of 350's than me, just my vague car knowledge tells me its not the fix to this issue... Not being a dick just trying to find an answer to my problem
  15. DE. Large loads on the engine. Car gets hot. Oil pressure drops. I clearly don't know all the answer else I wouldn't be on here trying to get some support would I? Appreciate some good responses to help me diagnose a problem. Thanks...
  16. Again, larger sump, not going to solve the issue is it, baffled or not. edit: I'll give you more details, seen as no one really has got the picture here, I could sit static, limiter bashing, burnout or whatever and the issue would arise anyway due to the temperature, nothing to do with drifting forces so please stop mentioning baffled sumps...
  17. Not any issue on 350's when drifting really, input on the oil pressure problem would have been nicer
  18. Went drifting yesterday. After a hard few laps my pressure drops to 5/10psi according to the guage. Leave it to cool for 10 mins and it returns to normal. Car drives fine (drove it to work and back today and its all fine with normal driving/occasional foot down moment) and oil level is where it should be. How accurate is the gauge? Could it be the wiring/gauge getting hot and misreading? Worth looking into an oil cooler? Searched google and not found anything similar to this. any response appreciated.
  19. Thanks for the comments guys! Here is part 2!
  20. I've never seen any drifting related spacer issues, nor have my friends (all drifters) either experienced or seen it happen. Not saying it doesn't happen, but not anything to worry about unless you're buying a set of 4 spacers on ebay for £25 haha
