    Z prices

I have thought about putting it back to standard but don't have the space to store the parts or the time to do that living where I do now unfortunately so has to go as it is. Ekona: I'm getting a standard wheel for it and wasn't aware the year wasn't in the advert, thought it did it off the reg plate so that's been changed. What other detail would you put in the ad? It lists the mods, the history, the mileage, didn't think it was lacking detail really.

    Z prices

Just wondering what people's opinions are on the pricing of my 350? It's coming with full 12m mot w/no advisories, got a few nice bits fitted and interest in it seems limited...had far too many timewasters - either no shows or agree a price and 'yea I'll send a deposit' and never to be heard of again...- it's considerably less than I paid for it a couple of years ago and has done about 4k since then and only about 500 miles this year which is partly the reason for sale. Is the market just terrible atm? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201706136394923?postcode=gu13de&make=NISSAN&radius=1500&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly New&onesearchad=New&model=350 Z&advertising-location=at_cars&price-to=5000&sort=sponsored&page=3
  3. Anybody got a standard steering wheel? with or without the airbag, can get that seperately but will need the steering wheel to be complete with centre cap too. thanks

  5. Will take offers on this. Just going through MOT so will have full 12m, losing parking so needs to go soon.
  6. Ended up going away for a while and only just got round to advertising this again. New reduced forum price, any questions shout, will MOT at asking price. Thanks!
  7. it's also dawned on me that i've added it in the 'for sale' bit rather than 'zeds for sale'. Will message a mod and sort some pics out
  8. Evening all!The time has come to part with the Z, I decided to do this end of last year having moved further into central London and commuting out, having 2 cars is a nightmare in itself in terms of parking and pointless having the Z to sit in traffic. it's been used about 3 times this year and not turned a wheel for over two months So basics: JDM, 64k miles, extensive service history in Chilli red. No clicking axle, clutch was done approx 10k miles ago with receipts. Rad fans were also replaced - can't remember exact date but also receipts. MOT until August, no advisories at the last and only done a couple of k since. Last serviced around 1.5k miles ago with Fuchs Titan Race Pro R, magnetic sump plug and a k&n oil filter Aesthetics - Carbon bonnet - Nismo V2 bumper, carbon splitter and removeable canards to match bonnet and mirrors - Chargespeed style wingmirrors - RT performance lip spoiler - 19" mania racing alloys - Carbon engine cover - Nismo oil cap Performance - Invidia Gemini catback - GReddy induction kit - GReddy strut brace - Lowered on Tein S techs - Big brembos with drilled and grooved discs - Remapped, no import restriction Interior - custom two-tone red leather and suede seats .- carbon gear handle (apparently a short shift kit but unconfirmed) - Momo commando steering wheel - Kenwood touch screen system; GPS, DVD, CD, USB, iPod Aux Bad bits - few marks on the body from careless people in carparks - small chip in the V2, nearside almost on the wheel arch - needs an aerial, keep forgetting as I only use my ipod - usual boot doesn't stay up with the spoiler on, never bothered me Forum price £5100ono Give me a shout with any questions.07534 52744 Some better pics on the ebay ad: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/332262363218?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
  9. 10! Lot of choice there. ok; Lambo Miura Datsun 240z 964 Turbo 993 GT2 997 GT2 as a track toy e-type (maybe) DB5 Lancia Stratos Bowler Wildcat Then something big and diesel for sensible ish trips. The e type may be exchangeable for an F40. Undecided right now.
  10. cheers guys. better have a think about what I have to do. Won't be trading in will do it all privately I reckon. May stick it on ebay for around 6 and then if zero interest start stripping bits off and dropping accordingly. Also handily has a private reg - meaningless to me but valued at £5-600 so may try and get that sold first
  11. So I'm having a big life dilemma. I moved to London recently and I'm struggling with 2 cars (also have a 320d, needed to tow a motorbike, commute), usage wise and parking wise. I' ve had the Z for about 15 months now and absolutely love it... BUT the situation is far from ideal so I've been toying with chopping them both in to compromsie with a 325/330d m sport, still undecided but wondering what sort of money I could expect from my Z Basics - '04 Import with 63k miles. fsh from import and oil & K&N filter done around 1k miles ago. - It's been remapped, no import limiter. - Chilli red with black and chrome 19's, very few marks on the alloys - Interior is (as far as I know) custom. half red leather. - sat nav/dvd player, not the standard satnav unit - MOT until next July, no advisories. Extras - Carbon bonnet - Nismo V2 bumper with carbon lip - Blitz stye rear lip spoiler - Tein S Tech springs (less than 1y old, sits very nicely) - Chargespeed carbon mirrors - Carbon engine cover - Nismo oil filler cap - GReddy strut brace - GReddy induction kit - Invidia Gemini catback - MOMO commando steering wheel - slight tint to the windows (to the point where I wasn't sure if they were actually tinted to start with..) Bad bits; - usual few small marks on the bodywork from careless people in carparks - if you try and chuck it into 6th aggressively there is a slight crunch sometimes. not for normal changes just those hurried ones and only in 6th. Think that's about it.. oh it's also had the clutch changed about 10k miles ago and the fans replaced so those 2 common issues sorted. No clicking axle.
  12. I'm having a bit of a clearout in light of moving house in a few weeks time. Now got a couple of other watches so these two haven't been worn for well over a year, most likely longer thinking about it. First is an Armani watch, still have the presentation box. Never really worn that much, few superficial scratches but very good condition overall. cost £190 so.. £75ono posted Second is a Diesel one, think this one cost less, something like £120/130. Thick band style watch. strap is a little worn in that it has slight crease marks in the leather where you pull it tight. £35 posted Because they've both been unworn for a while the batteries are dead so I'll get new ones put in (or knock £10 off and sort that yourself if preferable)

    engine oil

Time for a refresh of the oil.. so 5w30 fully synth....any brand preferences? also how much goes in?! and are there any benefits with the k&n/HKS oil filters or just stick with OEM/pattern? I did try searching for 'oil' but the word was too short....
  15. did a similar trip on bikes last year. go to lake Bled in Slovenia, 100% worth the trip. Did you look at potential difficulties with Kosovo? seem to remember reading something about you can have difficulties going into Serbia from Kosovo (or one way...all a bit vague in my memory now, we didn't go to Kosovo) Yankeesiter. roads are excellent for most of that (no idea of Kosovo, Albania though), we had no language issues really, in Bosnia English was rare but you always get by with some interesting miming. depending how much you want to rough it accomodation is cheap and food/drinks cost nothing unless you're in very touristy places or high end restaurants
  16. oh and javelin trackdays are the ones to look at
  17. no worries, they'll let you know about instruction at the riders briefing and think it's £20/session obviously on top of track day costs (88db days are cheaper than open pit too). I don't think i've been to a day where they didn't have instructors but if that's the main reason you're going then might be worth a call as it'd be sods law that the time you go....
  18. do a track day at Croft, they always have instructors that you can book slots with and they're all very good. The 'quiet' 88db days are a bit more relaxed as you go out in sessions depending on your ability. Unless you're fairly comfortable with track driving maybe avoid open pit days, they tend to be a step up in speed and general aggression. croft is a great track, decent straights, some technical corners and generally plenty of run off.
  19. might give that a go. will dig out the ecu reset and see if it cures it. tried it again tonight..same thing. starts fine initially and then after a short drive, turn it off and it won't start again. still not entirely convinced it's not fuel pump related, if I wiggle the wires whilst the engine is running the tone of the pump changes. the whole thing is bloody weird.
  20. tried to get it to do it again after wiggling all the wires near the fuel pump and typically it's started behaving. took it for a spin out, got back and it wouldn't do anything wrong. Thought I could hear it priming but maybe not... it's a bit of a mystery. just strange that I haven't used it for a few days, fine when i last used it then suddenly this pops up. think i'll go in the other car tomorrow and take it for a spin at the weekend, don't want it stuck in my works carpark for bank holiday!
  21. would I not get lights on the dash if there were errors though? it runs absolutely spot on when I'm driving it...right up until the point I shut it off. and seems to come back when I bash the fuel pump...
  22. update... Started fine when I got back to it. stopped for fuel about 10 mins into my journey...same thing. turning and turning but not firing. pulled the cover off and bashed the fuel pump and it fired up tried it again when I got home, parked the car, turned it off, it wouldn't start again... same thing, bashed fuel pump, up it fires. new fuel pump time....again.
  23. Had a bit of a weird one this morning. Decided to take the Z to work, quick 15m or so blast down mainly dual carriageway. I always give it plenty of time to warm up so it's a relaxed drive in. about a mile from work I stopped to get breakfast, ran back out to the car and it wouldn't start. cranking over but just not firing, didn't even sound as though it was close to firing just turning over. took the key out, locked unlocked, redid the immob, turned the key and she fired straight up..?! Now to me this sort of suggests a fuelling problem? if it was immobiliser related or something then it wouldn't crank? I don't believe it's the fuel pump as I changed that about 400 miles ago and when that went it would fire for a second then die. I'm intrigued as to what it's going to do when I get back to it after work. Fuel light is on but has only just come on, around 90km showing remaining. any ideas what could have caused it?!
