Saw a 350z sliver 07 plate on A217 in between Reigate and Gatwick. Flashed my lights but got nothing back! How disappointing.

Saw the same car today, again outside the train station. Was a 53 plate. Ended in DMX os something like that. Looked like an older person driving it (not old!!)

Just saw a ginger 350z in Horley, outside the training station at about 2pm. Was a bit too far away, so didn't see the plate or any specific details. Looked fairly standard though. Anyone on here?

Mines OV54 too. They're very common! It's a Gunmental grey one down in Surrey though.

Ditto. I saw loads a few months back, 4 in one day at the weekend and then the next weekend I saw 3 in one day, but now not seen one in ages. Where's everyone gone?

I've just realised this car (probably) parks down my road. It's on a drive about half way down. Think it's a 59. Does look really nice.

I just called up the DVSA and they confirmed there is a known computer glitch which is affecting some renewal dates, so that's made me feel better. The guys at the garage said they couldn't find the vehicle, and having not owned it a year I was a bit suspect. But all is well. Just thought I'd let everyone know in case anyone is in a similar situation.

Liam. In the US they call 'Nissan' as 'Neeson' So I thought it was like the actor Liam Neeson. Hence Liam! I'll get my coat. Edit. My parents had a red Ford Focus and they called it Robert. As in the actor Robert Redford.

I did think about describing the noise, but I'd end up just saying "kkrrrrrsschchchc" Ah, I just had the alternator belt change at the same time as my MOT, so I'm guessing this is probably it! Is this worth getting double checked or is this noise normal after the change?

Last week I went to start my car (like I do in the exact normal way), but it stalled which was odd. So I went to start it again and it struggled for a couple of seconds and then it started, but when it did there was a loud noise for a couple of seconds which sounded like a belt slipping. What could that be? I've since started the car about 5 times and it's been perfect. The car has been in an MOT a few days earlier. I thought the 350z's had chains, not belts. Can chains make this noise? As you can tell, I'm not too hot on the engine side of things. So go easy on me!

I took my car to be MOT'ed as it was due to expire on the 21st of October 2015. When I saw the new MOT certificate I noticed it said the 8th October 2016. Normally an MOT will extend the date by a year from the original expiry date. When I questioned this with the garage they said VOSA were changing their systems and my car wasn't on there, so it was a knock on effect of this and there was nothing they could do. Is this right? Does anyone else have any experience of this?

I saw 4 once just driving around Crawley (near Gatwick) and I thought that was a lot, but 7, wow! They're common as muck!

You've always got to flash regardless. If anything, flash more if you don't recognise them.

I'm so jealous! The Google Street View car went past me and I got very excited but they didn't put it up as they put up an earlier drive. Gutted.

Saw a lovely yellow 05 plate in Homebase car park at Reigate. Attached photo below. You parked right next to me, so you would have seen me. It gave me a lovely surprise when I came back to the car. Was a special edition as it had a 50/100 something badge. Said GT4, I think! (I had a good nose around) I must ask, what were you buying? I can't fit anything in the back, except screws maybe.

The other half is looking to buy a new car. Currently considering... Fiat 500 /Ford Ka Volkswagen UP / Seat Mii / Skoda Citigo Toyota Aygo / Peugeot 107 / Citroën C1 Looking to spend 7k max. Must be a small car. Sadly budget doesn't stretch an Abarth. 25k miles. Any stand out performers in that list? Any other recommendations?

Hi mate. Ah yes, that's the one then! I did think it looked like a woman driving, but I spotted it from a fair distance away, so didn't want to offend anyone in case it was a long haired chap instead! Good to see another 350z around.

Saw a black or very dark blue 350z in Horley. You had no front number plate but saw the back one. Only saw it from a distance but looked modified. Must of had a different exhaust as it sounded great. Was on a personalised plate on k86, I think!

Wow, I've never been spotted in the UK and I got to Belgium and get spotted. Nuts! Here's a photo of where we were. Yes, the Dutch were nuts. They were raving all night and setting off fireworks next to our tent. I wouldn't have normally minded, but wanted to be up early to get the best spots the next day. Good fun though.

Just waiting to get on the ferry and spotted a black 350z on a 54 plate at Dunkirk. Although wasn't lined up like the other cars and never saw the driver! Is it anyone's from here?

Sadly not. I was in campsite yellow and had my 54 plate gm. What campsite were you in? On the ferry now and there is a black 350z in the pet car park, but no driver! Been away for a week in Belgium, Holland, Germany and France and didn't see one eu 350z.

Saw a GM 350z in the car park at Spa. Was there on Saturday and Sunday. Was heavily modified, so must be on here? Mine was just around the corner in the camp site.
