Oops! Sorry, I obviously didn't read properly! Well good luck! All else fails maybe this'll help - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CHROME-FINISH-REPLACEMENT-NISSAN-350Z-REAR-BADGE-LETTERING-LETTERS-350-Z-NISMO-/122092297971

    350Z Boot Badge

Jon@Emperor tuning has one on eBay. It's going for just under £10, so I'd say it's a great solution http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350Z-Rear-Back-Boot-Lid-Tail-Gate-Badge-Logo-Emblem-Silver-GENUINE-/281913771375 Bought off him before and can't complain. Super fast delivery and item exactly as described
  3. You and your LEDs Not that I can talk but yeah...
  4. Which I have indeed I did manage to cause a short circuit somehow during the install though. Taught me for being lazy and not disconnecting the battery! Luckily just replaced the fuse and all was good!
  5. Ahhh, fair enough! @Steve - Happy to meet up as long as it's not too long, e.g. longer than 30 mins. It's gonna be on my lunch break so I've gotta keep within that, especially as I was 45 mins late to work today! I'll PM you now.
  6. Looks like James hasn't seen your post. I'll check back tomorrow morning, but if still no response from him and work doesn't look too busy, I'm happy to meet you near my workplace so you can have a listen.
  7. The only place I personally know of that sells them new (in the UK at least) is Torqen. Link to Adrian's thread and pic below: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/109743-torqen-deal-alert-350z-de-torqen-clear-bumper-reflectors-79/
  8. Glad to see you got it fitted Strangely enough, I think my garage had the same issue with the same bolt (one nearer the back of the car on the left side), and did exactly what you did.
  9. Could be a tad awkward for me as I'll be at work. Saying that, if James can't meet then I'll try sort something out for a quick meet. My car's embarrassingly dirty right now though
  10. Oh yeah good shout. Check https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/ as Rich did. And man, the 57 owner(s) really didn't like the idea of buying new tyres!! P.S. Tyres (MPSS) would be about £600 for all corners.
  11. I'm sure others will chime in shortly, but personally I wouldn't worry about it too much. 4 owners for a 8-9 year old car isn't that high, especially when you consider it's more of a fun car than a practical car, i.e. people may have to switch due to financial reasons (baby, house, etc...). Only thing about having more owners is a higher chance of someone along the "chain" slacking on taking care of it, but then again if it has a FSH then that's a good start Oh one other thing to consider I guess is resale value. It could make it a less attractive prospect for some - obviously it was to some extent to you else you wouldn't be here asking. Sorry, I like to ramble on... In short, I'm not the most experienced at buying cars, but I'd say don't put too much weight on it. If it looks like the previous owners have looked after it, then go for it. I think I'm the 4th or 5th owner on mine and it's been great! (Looks like I took too long to type and 2 others have already replied so I'm just repeating their sentiment )
  12. Carbon Fibre Bonnet Covered about 2,000 miles. Buy it now price: £490 Make offer: Yes Delivery charge: Collection Time remaining: 23 days 6 hours Location: Staines Forgot to post the link originally. Can't find it anymore (I tried various ways of searching), so it looks like it's sold!
  13. Touring alloys in white Not sure if there'll be much demand for these, but seems pretty cheap considering they've been refurbed! I assume the marks in the pic below is just dirt? Buy it now price: £100 Make offer: Yes Delivery charge: Collection, but he/she will deliver if not too far Time remaining: 28 days 9 hours Location: Horwich, Greater Manchester http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/nissan-350z-alloys-/272356319478
  14. Lol, how random! Looks great
  15. Having installed an AppRadio in my car, I wanted to give this a go for fun. I never got mine to work though, but I'm sure it's down to the cheap Chinese knock off adapter I bought. It never successfully connected to the Torque app. I Googled at the time, and I think people said that the knock offs were very hit and miss, which is to be expected. I never pursued it though as I also read that they can fry your ECU or something (no idea about validity), plus I didn't want to invest in a proper adapter at the time. Will look into it again in the future, but right now I have other things I want to work on + I use my AppRadio for GPS anyway so not a biggie. I'm very prone to rambling, but in short what I'm trying to say is be wary of the cheap adapters. I bought mine from a seller on eBay called "goodshopaa2010". Hopefully of some use to people who are just starting to look into setting up Torque. Car - 2004 DE OBD adapter - eBay special Phone - LG G3
  16. Hi all, Hopefully I'm posting this in the right section, but I was wondering if anyone knew if the 2 mounting holes for the bottom of the headlight are level? I've shamelessly stolen a picture from Bullet Magnet's thread below (sorry BM!), but I'm referring to the left and middle arrows: If noone knows off the top of their head I'll check it at the weekend, but I thought I'd ask in case someone knows! Oh and I don't think it matters (?) but I have a 2004 UK zed. Thanks in advance!
  17. Oh I thought you were after facelift lights? Sorry if I misunderstood. The ones you linked above are Junyan / Spec-D Tuning headlights. I bought some 2nd hand on eBay at the beginning of this year (on my build thread here). If you order them, note that: Make sure you request a RHD version They don't have self-leveling Mine had the LED halos, which were very dim. You won't really be able to notice them during the day The 5 LEDs above (which I've come to refer as "spider eyes"), are nice and bright Mine suffered from condensation I'm not 100% sure, but I think they come with halogen low beams, and the HIDs are an "upgrade" Looking back at the photos in my build thread (including the ones on page 4), the HID projector's cut off was terrible. It could have been due to the projectors, bulbs or both! Definitely would recommend at least trying shimming the bulb to get a better cut off. My headlights were aiming super high when I installed them. There are 2 adjustment screws so it shouldn't be an issue, but just worth noting they REALLY need adjusting if you install I think that's about it. Looking at the list above, it's probably quite off-putting! I bought my pair for £87. I'm happy to tinker with them so for me, that was a price I was willing to pay. Not sure if I would pay for a brand new set though. Adding on the options and paying customs will add onto the total very quickly. So all things considered, I'd personally get the Depo headlights KyleR mentioned. Bullet Magnet did a how on this thread. As I say, I bought my Junyan lights at the beginning of this year. So far I've had them on the car for a total of 1 day. Definitely looking forward to sticking on the car once I've sorted it though! Oh and with regards to your question about the country of origin, I'd go on the assumption that US/Germany = LHD and AU = RHD. Definitely worth checking with the seller though!
  18. Wow, very nice finds
  19. I've personally left it as it was when I bought the car. I can't remember off the top of my head what the figure was on my car, but I don't really rely on it anyway. I use sound + tachometer if needed. Saying that, I shift like a granny anyway But ya, totally up to your preference I guess
  20. I have no idea tbh, but I'm def a fan.
