  1. Alright kyle, yes mate 2 things that I noticed which is 2 things I wasn't happy with. It tuned out the car had had a knock on the front drivers side, when I went to have a look the guy showed me and the headlight washer jet was smashed and actually the nozzle was glued in place but the gap wasn't as bad before so I think that's one thing that needs looking at. The spoiler, I've heard loads of people say that so as soon as I saw it is thought that's not right but nothing to do with fitment. Although I am 100% sure it's genuine nismo. It got the part number on it when it was manufactured not just put on afterwards and it's plastic not fibreglass. I checked it out thoroughly when I bought it but like you say I am a bit confused about it Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  2. Cheers Mike, although I am a bit of a perfectionist and there are a few bits I'm not 100% happy with. Don't know if it's the kit or the fitting. But at the same time look at what I paid, a genuine nismo kit sold on here the other day for £1600! So I could've been paying a load more. I don't want anyone to rip it bits as has happened to another couple of threads lately. From certain angles the paint match looks spot on and from others it doesn't but then I know it sometimes looks different depending on what the parts are made of. And this has alloy, fibreglass, plastic and steel so I'm aware it'll never be 100% the same Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  3. Well that was a bit of a waste of time as half my images are apparently too large to load Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  4. So I wanted to modify my car a bit and couldn't decide what to get. I really wanted the nismo look but it was quite a bit of money. So I bought a mines replica lip, a rear diffuser and was going to go for side steps. I then found a good deal on a aftermarket nismo kit so I bought it. I was having my new kitchen fitted at the time ran out of money so I just sold the nismo kit. I then spent a couple of weeks regretting selling it, but by selling it is knew this is what I really wanted. I was mad at myself and a bit depressed so I put in a load of overtime and bought a nismo v1 kit from rt performance, who did the bumper, skirts and spats for £455 delivered. The kit came I unwrapped the skirts and the quality looked loads better then the previous kit so I was happy. I had already bought a genuine plastic nismo spoiler which from what I have read the plastic nismo is what they sold to the American market. The bonnet had corroded on the edges so I got that done, also someone scuffed my rear bumper so also had that repaired. Unfortunately I had to have my boot done as well as the paint shop said it wouldn't look right. So had my front and rear bumper, skirts, spats, spoiler fitted and painted, boot painted and bonnet painted. They then machine polished the rest of the car. The cost of this was £900. So here's the before and after then I'll post the bits I'm not 100% sure on Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks Hodaka, that's mine. I could do with the cash so if anyone on here wants it let me know and I'll stick it up. So long as I end up with £70 I'll be happy 😊 Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  6. Good write up, nice and clear and I am going to attempt putting my stereo in myself. I looked at your other guild and bought exactly what you said. The stereo is a pioneer avh-x8700bt so have I bought the right leads? Hope so. Is this speaker mod a must do then? What would the stereo volume be like without this mod? Will the sub woofer still work? Is there any chance of blowing the woofer or speakers with different head unit? Reversing camera guild would also be good so I could do it all at once. Just a few questions then lol. Thanks Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  7. that's what i was thinking, its an extra couple of layers of protection. car is going in for paint on 28th March for bumpers, bonnet and genuine nismo spoiler so makes sense to do it all at the same time. only thing im thinking now it do i just do it all the same colour? car is blade silver with anthracite rays so thought black splitter, side steps, spats and top part of the spoiler in black would look quite good. although i have been on the fence and the cheaper easier option would be all the same colour. thoughts??? 8. Hi all ive been thinking of buying a few bits for my car and depending on these replies I'll be on the phone ordering tomorrow. i have been thinking of buying gloss black gel coat finish:- â— mines replica lip â— side steps â— nismo rep spats. i was going to fit them and just leave them but how do they hold up and does the finish deteriorate after a few weeks. anyone with experience with any of these products who can tell me how they hold up would be good. thanks Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  9. im after a ts style but didn't wanna pay carbon fibre money.........unless the gb brings it in line Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  10. i think it looks better without so think I'll do the same. thanks Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  11. so as soon as the crap weather is over I'll be having my after market nismo bodykit fited. just a quick question.....what is the red circled bit for?? my guess was Japanese number plate but i have noticed some dont have it. when it was a uk factory option did it have it.?? or do people just cut them out as it looks better? will it still be strong enough if i do cut it out? 12. i would say look at plenty. i looked at 8 before buying mine. i had read all the guides so had my questions ready but the condition was miles apart on some. i looked at ones from 5 grand to 10 grand i looked at one for £8500 and it was terrible but only had 27,000 miles. it hadn't been serviced in 4 years, wheels needed a refurb, no car mats, boot struts needed replacing, still had original tyres that needed replacing, it had been kept under a tree for years and the paint was horrible. also 4 out of the 8 i looked at had crash damage or had been repainted. look for any paint over spray on all the rubber seals, check panel gaps and different shades of paint. don't buy the first one you see buy the right one and be prepared to increase your budget slightly for the right car. i drove 110 miles to look at one that wasn't right and 160 miles to look at one, same again it was terrible. 99% of them all look good on the photos but a lot of the time the reality is a lot different. you need to look at plenty to see what sort of condition you get for your budget. i payed £5400 for mine and the only one that was in better condition was the £10,000 one. the one for 9k, 8.5k, 7.5k and 6k were all in worse condition for some reason or another ie..servicing record, bodywork, higher mileage, replacement parts needed etc........ 13. can't believed i missed this!! ive wanted to go for a drive out for a while but they're all miles away. im only an hour away, okay to tag along on the Saturday?? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  14. ive always had motorbikes and i love bikes and cars. i lived for 7 years with a shed, then i got another 2 bikes so bought another shed. Then 2 years ago it was time to buy a new house as we had a baby, house was her priority garage was mine, so i bought my house with this in the back garden. fully insulated, running water and gas, toilet, remote garage doors and i even stuck surround sound in it. If you ever come to move make a garage a priority like i did.....the house is okay as well Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  15. nice one, thanks Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  16. So my 350 has been struggling to start over past 2 weeks. came to it this morning and its dead, showing next to nothing on the internal volt meter. The battery i chose to replace it with is a bosch at £59.99 with 4 year guarantee. Will i be ok taking the battery off to double check it and trade it in, then put the new one on about 4 hours later?? will their be any immobiliser or any other problems haveing the battery disconnected for this amount of time? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  17. yeah, you only get 4 laps in each car but it'll be good to have a go. im gonna go for the 997 then its between the atom, 360 and lambo. i am leaning towards the lambo for the simple reason i used to love the diablo when i was young and a lambo or ferrari is never gonna happen for me financially to own, but i could at some point stretch to a atom Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  18. their's a few saying the 997 so think I'll go with that. 1 down 1 to go. i was thinking the atom as the track is a bit tight and its basically a racing car for the road, guess i have a bit more thinking to do Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  19. im really not sure what to go with. i think ive already decided not to go with the vantage or jag but unsure about the rest. i was thinking of the atom but my brother went on a similar thing and said the atom was a bit hard to get used to and by the time you do its time to come in. he drove a 458 ferrari and said it was awesome and by far the best but i have no idea what a 360 will be like. im thinking ferrari and lambo but could quite easily go with the atom and 997 turbo. been changing my mind all the time!! 20. So for Christmas the wife got me a driving experience day. i get to go in 2 cars, however the fastest car i have driven is the 350z. i have 1000cc sports bikes so i am used to something fairly quick. out of the following which would be the most fun to drive......and has anyone driven any of these cars or been on a similar thing ? Ariel Atom, Audi R8, Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Ferrari 360, Jaguar F-type, Porsche 997 Turbo, and Lamborghini gallardo Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  21. went to see star wars today. i thought it was ok but it didn't blow me away. i thought the father son thing had been done and done better in the first 3, usually all the other jedi needs loads of training but its like that woman woke up and could do everything, it took 3 films to destroy the death star that was 10 times smaller and in this film took 20 mins to destroy the planet. so it was a lot like the first 3 movies rolled into 1 and not done as well. and did mark hamil even get paid........he didn't say one word and hos only contribution was to turn round and take his hood down! im a big star wars fan so if im missing something please let me know Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

  23. im going to be upgrading my discs and pads in February time so looking for a deal. bought some goodridge lines on the last group buy. Is this a good deal??? looked on the clark website and the discs are £215, pads are £80 so thats £295.......£15 cheaper then the package deal??? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  24. i agree, i think we should be possibly asking for stainless fittings instead of zinc and/or a clutch line as a bit of a good will gesture really. they took the money straight away and even if they do them next week that'll still end up being 5 weeks in total!!
