  1. I can't understand why you didn't tell her you needed to lose a bit of weight in the car to clear the bumps and ask her to walk the last 1/4 mile and you'd meet her there?? Simple, seems to me you didn't think it through. :-S Hahaha that's very true
  2. Funny story (well it's not very funny) with my Zed and bumps haha (only some one who loves their car can feel the pain) When I first met my girl friends parents, the misses failed to mention the speed bumps down her rich parents roads!!! As you drive down the road there's serious motors every where! Most cars on the drive where 80g plus! Anyway I'm driving down the road in my stupidly low, loud Zed, then I see the first bump!!!!! Wow! Me not wanting to leave the Zed half a mile away from the house, I thought I'v gotta go for it, after about 7 bumps, posh idiots in their fancy cars all now stacked up behind me and me at boiling point, slightly scratching the bottom on my car! I decided to just leave it by the side of the road!!! It's now raining badly and she is now moaning about walking in the rain! She then decides to come out with the worst one liner known to man!!!! "Why do you have a silly car that can't even get over a little bump" To cut a long story short first impressions where terrible, soaking wet and I don't think any of them could understand my pain! Me and her nearly fell out!! Plus I feel like a little chav in my car hahaBut now she understands haha Sorry if that story bored you but every one with a low car must of got them selfs in a situation like that haha
  3. All fitted and cleaned up! Thank you to all that commented! Really much appreciated! All one big learning curve If someone can confirm wasso's fault code reading skills from my video, that would make me a very happy lad!!!
  4. What a great bunch of people! Looking forward to seeing it
  5. This is it right? Squeeky clean! ???
  6. If no one else comes back with codes! Or confirms this! When I'm back home I'll get the sensor out and have a look, give it a clean! I'll also take some pictures! If needs be! Cheers wasso!!!! If anyone else sees a different code or can confirm this, that would be awesome! Thank you in advance
  7. Here's a trimmed down video! Hope this shows the code!!! I have got a longer version I I'v cut it out haha but hopefully this is what you need! Don't know if reminding people it's a JDM makes a difference but just thought I would mention it
  8. Got it loading very slowly now onto photo bucket! So Video to follow shortly! I'v looked at the codes and the way I'm reading it doesn't match to a code but when I'v got the video up I'll put it up on here!!! All I think I know is it starts in a 3 and ends in a 2 hahaha but between them it flashes quickly 10 times which doesn't match a code! But like I said this is just me learning of the guides and you guys! So when the video is up I'll let people that know what there on about tell me how to actually read it and the code! This is where I'm finding the codes, really helpful link so thank you! http://www.350z-uk.com/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_id=10300
  9. Managed to reset the ECU so now the engine management light is off! I also filmed the flashing lights which should give me the code right???? Trying to up load the video now but photo bucket. Is being a pain! I think a trip to Japex is in need!
  10. Found a really old thread that I think has answered my question which is a yes! You can get the code by doing a reset! Can anyone confirm this and another question is! Is the reset code the same for JDMs????
  11. Big thank you to Wasso for poping over tonight! Unfortunately his reader doesn't pick up on JDMs but had a good chat To get the code with the flashing light method, is it just a reset? Then the code will flash whilst it resets? (I'll just film it then post it on here)???? I'm struggling to find the link or thread on the forum about this!
  12. You lot are way to good to me haha
  13. This helps a lot! Wasso the legend that he is, is bringing his reader round tonight so we will see and will let you know!!!!
  14. I don't want to sound like an idiot (well I am when it comes to the ins and outs of cars) but where will I find this or get hold of this??? Sorry not car technically minded at all! Got to start learning somewhere!
  15. Started the car yesterday morning, big, noisey start as normal! Sounded great! 15min trip was fine! No dramas at all! Was only out the car 5 min till I started her up again and she sounded dead with a really wispy exhaust sound, like something was fluttering in it! Engine management light on and the traction control off light was on and so was SLIP! I revved slightly a few times and the car went back to normal, lights off, so drove home! Then fine the rest of the day! Today I checked the oil, was a little low nothing major so I topped up and started her up! Sounded lovely but engine management light is on! I turnt her off and back on and she sounded dead again! Now I'm posting on here! She's not long ago had a new battery, and I'm guessing if she's fired up well on the first start I'm guessing it rules the battery out! But what do I know! Any ideas? Thanks in advance
