  1. I'd be embarrassed to drive that car it looks ridiculous
  2. True true true and I Iike black but you are correct ... GT4s are a bit special, especially when they're unmolested and they'll appreciate IMHO ... 370 Zeds are a bit ordinary , again IMHO I have a relatively unmolested 350 but all are capable of throwing you through a hedge upside down backwards and on fire.
  3. Because a 16K 5 year old 370 will depreciate like any other car Yes but a five year old 370 will be less corroded underneath and its a better car. I dont care about the colour which in this case isnt very nice any way
  4. Bet it's not pretty underneath as it's a ten year old car. Why not get a five year old 370 if you have 16k to spend
  5. Thats exactly what i did. Still doesnt stop your shopping ending up in the passenger foot well when being enthusiastic with the brakes though ☺
  6. I haven't got any rust on the bodywork but nearly every heat shield underneath is shot
  7. A miltek exhaust doesn't seem enough now
  8. I would think the measured whp is more accurate than the calculated fhp as the whp is what is directly put down on the dyno from the wheels. I had a new exhaust and a remap so i would have thought that 246whp is on the money
  9. I got a z about a year ago after driving a 1.2 fiesta! You wont regret it.
  10. I had exactly this problem with rainsport 3 on the rears. Completely flat evenly over the middle with loads of tread at the edges. Have now put on nokian zline and dropped the pressure from 35 to 30ish psi so hope i will get more than 6k out of them. Will probably stop doing screechy wheel spin starts too
  11. Was at richards brothers in redruth on a TAT Systems dyno whatever that is and they did three runs and all were consistent. the max torque was 254 ftlbs but the car has been remapped so i guess these figures arent unrealistic
  12. Pehaps it is but if i had to believe a figure it would be the whp as this is directly measured by power transfer from the wheels to the dyno. Doesn't really matter as the car is more than capable of making me need underwear changes on occasion
  13. Took my 2005 for a dyno run last friday and the whp was 246 and the fhp 269. Now I've done extensive research on this and people state about 15% for transmission losses but for me 23hp is only a 9%. Would love to know if anybody else has got as low a figure as this or whether i need to test it somewhere else
  14. Just had mine dyno'd and its 246 whp so ok
  15. Just had my car tested. 246 whp and 269 fhp so only a loss of 9%
  16. 2005 DE engine 2/3 milltek exhaust and celtic remap Richards brothers redruth on a tat systems 2 dyno 246 whp / 269 at the fly Seems a very low transmission loss to me at only 9%
  17. I've got a silver 55 plate that I sometimes pootle to tescos in at Launceston.I think you also spotted my car parked up at atlantic motors in camelford a couple of months back when I was having the underside treated against the dreaded rust.
  18. Followed through camelford yesterday by a 05 plate gunmetal 350z. Saw him again today near the co-op. Not seen it before perhaps someone has seen the light and just bought one.
  19. Thanks very much for your help, very useful info

    filler cap

Anyone know where I can get a filler cap for a 350z ? Left mine at a garage as the plastic tag had broken and now need a new one. If not does anyone know of a suitable replacement that's easy to source. cheers Brian
  21. I've got a totally standard 2005 350z and was wondering if it will still be producing the stated 280bhp if it's been maintained well . I read that t has a capability of adjusting itself to that level.
  22. Got my bottom rearranged when I didn't recognise that the car behind me was a Nissan GTR. I had to look at the speedo because it felt like I was stationary.
