  1. Hi Guys & Gals, Here we have a 2005 350Z Roadster in WV2 Gun Metal Grey Just under 40K on the clock! Excellent condition - been looked after & stored in a garage under a car cover. UK GT spec so has usual Brembo brakes and Bose sound system Has had full working Sat-Nav professionally installed MOT'd & Full service history Was bought to be used as a summer drive so only used for a couple months of the year Daily drive is a motorbike hence why we're selling it. Driven roughly 10 miles this year to go get MOT Looking for £7500 OVNO. Contact myself (Rich) via forum PM or TEXT ONLY on 07540 845745 Alternatively you can call and speak to Rob on 01749 812992 and explain that you've seen it on the forum. Any questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks!
  2. Hiya, Try the search function, its a very common issue. Here you go > http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/110377-cooling-fan-control-issue/
  3. I will be putting up a 350Z Roadster as soon as I have the pictures sorted out. Gun metal grey, 40K on the clock, black leather interior, MOT and full history. I want £7500 for it as well. PM if you like?
  4. Both sides should come on when AC is on. Probably the same issue everyone else gets where the contacts in the motor are too clogged up. My advice would be take the motor apart and clean up like others have before, then reconnect it all and see what happens?
  5. That's good information... I think it shows that I have a (separate) problem with the IPDM/ECU.... remember mine now both come on full at normal operating temperature (with no AC), and again both on full when I turn on the AC (with a cold engine). Looking through every post I can find, some people refer to both fans being on all the time with Mishimoto's. with single running only being available with OEM fans - which sounds illogical now I come to think of it... Anybody got practical experience of fixing a "lack of single running" issue? What did you do? (in fact, what is going on?) (and Rich, I mean it about buying your old stuff if you want to get rid of it) John Hmm, could be a different ongoing issure you have then.. Yea I havent even had time to to clear all the crap away from when I changed it on the weekend so as soon as I'm sorted and got em ready to sell or whatever, I'll PM you Johnny
  6. Right... Put my Zed through the Autotest to see if the fans were working at all. Ran it twice, so 6 times the vehicle went through the process and the fans didn't kick in once! Tested the fuse / Relay, all working fine so out with the old fan shroud. In with the new Mishimoto fans, and boom put it all back together works a treat. Ran autotest and they fired straight up, got it up to running temp and 1 kicked in, put A/C on and both came on. Personally, I highly recomend the Mishimoto fans I don't think their too loud at all. In fact I think they sound too healthy! Plus with my stereo booming and my Invidia Dual exhaust I would struggle hearing them anyway. Gone back into my garage today to have full silicone Mishimoto hoses and new thermostat fitted, then full coolant bleed!
  7. At high revs / high speed you don't notice it (as much...). It is in traffic (but with a cool engine, when you would expect a single fan on slow...) that you really notice it. It is louder than the engine. Mishimoto tell be it is because they are "straight bladed fans for efficiency an slim profile" To be honest, I'm sort of relieved to hear cooling fans kicking in when stuck in traffic. Good sign they're working! lol
  8. Are they just noisy when you sit in traffic with no air moving over the rad? Or are the noisy all the time? Has anyone else had any issues with the Mishimoto fans?
  9. I'm currently playing with the idea of upgrading my fans or taking apart the old ones to clean the brushes and motor up. Are the misimoto fans not worth the hassle buying then? I've just contacted them to see if they have stock lol!
  10. I will be trying this on the weekend as I'm currently having the same issues. Quick question though.. when it says "press driver's front door switch 10 times" are they referring to the door handle? Rich
  11. Be handy if there is, my Zed doesn't like the summer so when standing still in traffic the temp dial starts heading north. I'm hoping that with this added it might allow for more air to escape/enter the front bumper area. This won't aid cooling of your engine temp. Check your coolant and make sure both fans operate. Failing that you could have an air lock in the system, resolved by bleeding the air out of the cooling system. Yea I've done all that, and the problem is now solved. It's not doing it anymore, Like I said in my last post. I'm hoping that this will help heat escape from the void behind the bumper, and help to force cold air when driving directly to the cone filter

I'm hoping that with this added it might allow for more air to escape/enter the front bumper area. It wont make any difference to engine temp buddy. I didn't think it would do much, but surely it will help force cold air at my AEM intake?

  14. Has anyone fitted one of theses themselves? If so, was it easy, and did you find it any help? Thanks in advance! http://www.ebay.co.u...=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
  15. Is there a similar package you can do just for fronts? If so, how much? Cheers!
  16. Does anybdy know of any decent bodyshops in the Wiltshire area? I've used CRASH in Corhsam but found them to be very expensive for what I had done previously. So wondering if anyone has experience of any others? Looking to have my front bumper refurbed...
  17. Where did you find the "350Z" logo for the Fob? I've been sprawling the internet, can't seem to find one anywhere?
  18. Yeah, same here! Since I rolled my arches back in October last year, I've not even picked my roller up! So if anyone in and around Wiltshire needs to use one for DIY, I'll happily rent/loan it out.
  19. Ok guys, been searching through the forum, but cant find an answer so I need some help... 2004 DE 350Z. Clutch has been replaced using the OEM Exedy kit. DMF has been replaced with the OEM LuK DMF. The clutch slave cylinder has been replaced The master cylinder has been replaced with a genuine Nissan part Nissan have bled it through and reported no problems. Car drives fine. Pedal adjustment has been checked, been adjusted in/out accordingly BUT.... When trying to operate the clutch, I can only get the pedal down half the way, and its STUPIDLY heavy! Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
  20. Last of us was brilliant all the way through, thoroughly enjoyed it. P.T was F**k scary! shat me up soo many times!
  21. Q-Tech Auto services, Vincients way, Bumpers farm ind est, in Chippenham are really reliable and do all my MOT's. or try Declan over at Station Garage, Union Street opposite Halfords in Chippenham. He does loads of Japanese stuff including imports. I work in a Motor Factor in Melksham (No its not bloody Euro!!) and they both get all their stuff from us, I would recommend them to anyone.
  22. I live in Melksham and had my local garage fit my clutch. They done a great job at a very good price! I would suggest getting your clutch / DMF / slave / hose ordered first - try Clark Motorsport on here, they do some great kits for up-rated single mass flywheels. As well as OE stuff. My local garage is Smartchoice on the Bowerhill Industrial Estate. Whereabouts are you based? Rich
  23. Like ChrisS said, Just remove it. I did when I fit my spacers and its fine.
  24. Thanks chaps I'll get back to you after I've double checked everything!
