  1. At high revs / high speed you don't notice it (as much...). It is in traffic (but with a cool engine, when you would expect a single fan on slow...) that you really notice it. It is louder than the engine. Mishimoto tell be it is because they are "straight bladed fans for efficiency an slim profile" To be honest, I'm sort of relieved to hear cooling fans kicking in when stuck in traffic. Good sign they're working! lol
  2. Are they just noisy when you sit in traffic with no air moving over the rad? Or are the noisy all the time? Has anyone else had any issues with the Mishimoto fans?
  3. I'm currently playing with the idea of upgrading my fans or taking apart the old ones to clean the brushes and motor up. Are the misimoto fans not worth the hassle buying then? I've just contacted them to see if they have stock lol!

  5. Be handy if there is, my Zed doesn't like the summer so when standing still in traffic the temp dial starts heading north. I'm hoping that with this added it might allow for more air to escape/enter the front bumper area. This won't aid cooling of your engine temp. Check your coolant and make sure both fans operate. Failing that you could have an air lock in the system, resolved by bleeding the air out of the cooling system. Yea I've done all that, and the problem is now solved. It's not doing it anymore, Like I said in my last post. I'm hoping that this will help heat escape from the void behind the bumper, and help to force cold air when driving directly to the cone filter

I didn't think it would do much, but surely it will help force cold air at my AEM intake?

  10. Does anybdy know of any decent bodyshops in the Wiltshire area? I've used CRASH in Corhsam but found them to be very expensive for what I had done previously. So wondering if anyone has experience of any others? Looking to have my front bumper refurbed...

  12. Yeah, same here! Since I rolled my arches back in October last year, I've not even picked my roller up! So if anyone in and around Wiltshire needs to use one for DIY, I'll happily rent/loan it out.
  13. Ok guys, been searching through the forum, but cant find an answer so I need some help... 2004 DE 350Z. Clutch has been replaced using the OEM Exedy kit. DMF has been replaced with the OEM LuK DMF. The clutch slave cylinder has been replaced The master cylinder has been replaced with a genuine Nissan part Nissan have bled it through and reported no problems. Car drives fine. Pedal adjustment has been checked, been adjusted in/out accordingly BUT.... When trying to operate the clutch, I can only get the pedal down half the way, and its STUPIDLY heavy! Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Q-Tech Auto services, Vincients way, Bumpers farm ind est, in Chippenham are really reliable and do all my MOT's. or try Declan over at Station Garage, Union Street opposite Halfords in Chippenham. He does loads of Japanese stuff including imports. I work in a Motor Factor in Melksham (No its not bloody Euro!!) and they both get all their stuff from us, I would recommend them to anyone.
  16. I live in Melksham and had my local garage fit my clutch. They done a great job at a very good price! I would suggest getting your clutch / DMF / slave / hose ordered first - try Clark Motorsport on here, they do some great kits for up-rated single mass flywheels. As well as OE stuff.   19. After driving for about 15-30 minutes. Temp gauge starts rising, causing me to pull over and wait. I honestly couldn't tell you what procedures they followed. However I will say I thoroughly trust the garage, they've always done work on all my families cars so I'm confident in what he says he's done. I know that doesn't help much! Lol
  20. Hi guys, Been reading through a few posts on here from other members regarding the overheating issue the 350Z DE sometimes suffers from. So to run through everything that's been checked: Fans - both working normally, with or without use of AC Dial - reading correctly Thermostat - opening/closing as it should Air Flow - good, not being starved Cockpit Heater - behaving normally and hot air coming through regardless of rev range. Driveway - flat and level, very rarely parked on a slope Water pump - fine. Behaving normally. Still having a problem with overheating. Garage has had it for the day and bled the valve through to the point of the coolant free-flowing. Done a block test and fluid level test and everything is sound. Mechanic is stumped, so am I. Only thing I did notice last night when I went to drive it, upon start up I could hear a rushing sound of water behind the dash.. leading me to think that there is still air trapped in the heater matrix? So question is... Do I attempt another session of bleeding it with heater on low, squeezing flow/return pipes and see what happens? Or does anyone else have any suggestions?   21. Payco, currently having the same issue myself. Have you since sorted it by following previous instructions from the other forum members? Any problems overheating after you bled the valve/squeezed pipes etc..? Any advice would be grateful! Rich
  22. Hi guys, Up for grabs are my second hand (very dirty) Apex Lowering springs. They HAVE been fitted and well bedded in, I've done about 4K on them but they were fitted on the car when I bought it, so I can't tell you the actual mileage on the springs! I'm pretty sure they're a 30mm drop could be more toward 35 though as when they were on, I struggled to get my toes under the front lip!! I recently bought some Tein ones off TarmacSportz hence the sale! I'm looking for £50.00 + P&P, I think this is reasonable, but if its not then please tell me. I'll even give them a scrub tonight so they're clean for when they arrive! (I couldn't be bothered last night after struggling to fit em all day!) Thanks for looking!
