  1. Welcome. A bit virginal myself. Would be great to see some pics.
  2. I had a very minor (3 mph) accident 4 years ago. They are still calling me now but due to the abuse I gave them they are now automated calls. "£3600 has been held back by your insurance company for the accident on blah blah blah" "No one was injured. The accident was just a tap at 3mph" "£3600 has been put aside for any injuries though and if you don't claim it will go straight back to the insurance company ..." "Are you suggesting I commit fraud?" <dialtone>
  3. I see it differently. I think they would have sold more as the only competition would have been the Boxster (too expensive) and the Elise (too uncomfortable). I think there was a gap in the market ... but we'll never really know.
  4. Personally, I don't believe precats are the cause, they are a symptom. As soon as my car started burning oil I had the precats removed and they were in perfect condition. Post 2003 had engine mods but still had the precats. They had far less problems. There was a silver lining though ... I went 2zz! The car should've at least had the option for 2zz from the start.
  5. Yeah, thanks Toyota ... for selling me a brand new MR2 where the engine only lasted 50k miles. Thanks for refusing to acknowledge there was an engine problem. Thanks for finally acknowledging the engine problem but will only rebuild engines less than 7 years old which just happened to not include the first editions (pre 2003) which contained the problem. Yeah, thanks Toyota, thanks a f**king bunch. Sorry, not had a great experience with Toyota.
  6. +1 Wheels very flush with the arches ... spacers?
  7. I live in Chandlers Ford but haven't had my car long either. Couldn't really tell you if anything is wrong or not. However, if you meet with someone, I may pop along
  8. You could clean your MAF and do the pedal dance (http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/53148-how-to-ecu-accelerator-pedal-throttle-valve-resets/).
  9. Love Thailand, love fishing. Looks like you had a ball So, for your 50th ... http://www.thefeaturedcreature.com/never-swim-in-congo-goliath-tigerfish/
  10. Those pictures don't add up Looks like they've changed the story to cover their backs. Originally, the story claimed it stretched across the garage. This is another they originally claimed to be true but then added 'Fake or freak?' at a later date. http://www.dailymail...ty-TV-star.html
  11. Luckily the DM wouldn't put up such a fake story ... oh wait ... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2782008/Pensioner-s-shock-finding-SIX-FOOT-wide-spider-web-covering-garage.html
  12. It's not about the speed, it's about the experience.
  13. http://fastestlaps.c...a_fabia_rs.html Seeing as it's turboed (and supercharged), it's midrange acceleration will be pretty good.
  14. BMWs are certainly making a comeback.
  15. If you don't do it, it'll always be on your mind. I did it with a 1979 911SC. Loved it. Personally, I would buy a proper Porsche. 993 or older.
  16. I thought Miura as soon as I saw it. I think it comes across as a bit of a disappointment due to how crazy they have been with their recent styling.
  17. TBH, I'd rather have one of these ... http://www.topgear.c...-show-2014-10-1
  18. Indeed. Do you know how much a sender is? If it's cheap (I already know it's easy to replace) then I'll give that a go. http://www.clarkmoto...tch/25070-CD00A Ouch. Think I'll put a pressure gauge on the car and prove it's the sender first. Thanks

  20. What oil grade are you using? and whats the mileage of the engine? 5w30 Mobil 1 and 40k
  21. My 04 starts at ~70 psi and then goes down to ~10 (no aircon) or ~15 (aircon). Can easily get to 60 psi average revs. Hard/high revs max 75 psi. Oil level 1mm below H. Do I have an issue?
  22. Love the sound, love the speed, love the flames! Awesome.
  23. Indeed. If the head gasket goes you can be burning oil and water. Water can also mix with the oil and create the white gunk. White smoke is normally water. I would suggest a leak down test to find out the exact problem before spending any money. Oh and
