  1. I think the nismo looks much better than the standard car. I wasn't a fan of the 370's looks but the nismo converted me.
  2. In your opinion I'd honestly say in 99.9% of people's opinion. I love my 350z but it isn't a 911.
  3. I really liked the new nismo until I seen that virtually the whole US Nissan range is getting the same treatment. I seen a photo of a dog ugly saloon, or should I say sedan, with the same style front bumper complete with the red splitters. It really put me off. I think it would have been good if they kept the new styling just for the Z and GTR. Sadly it seems Nissan have similar plans for the nismo badge to what BMW had with the M badge. Not good IMO, but good for their overall business I suppose. As for a 350z having more character than a 911...............not a chance.
  4. Has anyone got or heard a tanabe medalion concept G? I like the sound from YouTube clips but it's hard to tell how loud it is on a ipad. Think I'm going to go for that or the medalion touring.
  5. +1 the recession and tax hike hit all big engined cars I agree. But you still see tons of late M3's, M5's, AMG's etc. I think most buyers spending between £30k and £60k go for German cars.
  6. I'm considering part exing my 350 against one in the autumn if i can get a good deal. I can't think of a better value used performance car. IMO main reason it's hasn't been a successful as it's rivals is that many buyers would rather have better fuel economy and a German badge. Good news for 2nd hand buyers though.
  7. According to this the nismo s tune y pipe doesn't get on with HFC's http://my350z.com/forum/intake-exhaust/593570-is-the-s-tune-exhaust-discontinued-2.html
  8. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321413482163 £25
  9. I think the red painted one looks ok and as for being weird have you seen some of the cars on this forum? I agree the marketing blurb is pathetic, but it's the same for a lot of American made aftermarket parts. I can only imagine what they write about wide arch body kits and BGW's. Many convertibles have a factory hard top available. It's a shame nissan didn't make one.
  10. Couldn't disagree with you more! My camaro looks bloody ace in the city and in the hills of bonnie scotland No offence meant mate. I like em. Just think they look a lot better on US roads. It'd look better in San Diego than Scotland
  11. Has anyone got one of these? I'm getting attached to my car but I'm not looking forward to the winter. http://my350z.com/forum/350z-roadster/526742-finished-smoothline-hardtop-with-pics.html
  12. I would also consider the Fujitsubo ti. The one with the z logo on it. Just seen one sold in the sale section a month before I got my car.
  13. They can be seriously vicious lil b******s. One of my ex's had one and it would go mental for an hour every now and then. The neighbours dogs were scared of it as was I.
  14. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321414609969 Cheap headlights. Not sure if they are the right year though?
  15. Just my opinion. But wide arch, ott cars don't look right on our narrow roads under a grey gloomy sky. They belong in SoCal on wide, palm tree lined roads in the sun. It's the same with mustangs and camaros etc.
  16. Tbh I wouldn't pay for MPSS on a fwd diesel mate. I appreciate good tyres are important, but you don't need to spend that much IMO. Fair enough if it's a powerful rwd car. I have a 180 bhp 62 plate gtc as a daily driver. It drives like its on rails. I've had it from new and it's not lost traction once.
  17. Wow. And there was me wondering if it was worth spending more than a grand for a exhaust on a 2005 roadster
  18. I can see you've found the free bonnet ad. Email Ewen at Clark motorsports for the other stuff. Looking at the list it might be worth scouting eBay for a full car with heavy rear end damage?
  19. Thanks, I'll give it a try. He did mention the last one imported ended up costing £1800! I nearly bought the none s tune nismo by mistake. The one that is basically the standard exhaust with larger tailpipes and nismo etched into them. It was only $400, thought I'd found a bargain.
  20. Someone in Cali, can't remember their name. They have 2 but they don't ship to Northern states let alone the UK. My insurance won't let me change the cats and I'm a bit worried the Invidia will be a bit quiet without hfc's.
  21. I get around 16 as well
  22. I love the sound. I was going to buy a Ark but I've been advised it might be a bit loud for a roadster. I've found new in the us but they won't ship here. I'm even considering US forum classifieds. There are so many different exhausts for the Z it makes my head hurt.
  23. Vets use this stuff. My dog cut her paw. Ended up costing £650. It had to be dressed every other day and they used this to clean it between dressings.
