Are nismo exhausts available in the uk?

Are they a lot cheaper than MPSS?

Yeah.. Yeah, special insurance would be arranged separately from the owners normal policy for the hire period. You can hire an R8 for about £1000+ for a weekend.. I'm just thinking about it, wondering how much it would cost for this kind of insurance for the period + how much people would expect to hire their Z for a weekend. So, I'm hiring a 3.7 litre V6 Mustang in Vegas for 10 days, it's in August and I'm under 25 so both of those things put the cost up. I'm paying just over £400 including the young driver fees, all the available insurance so I don't have to pay out for dings and a full tank of fuel. I'm not sure they'd be a market for a 350, a 370 Nismo yes, but not a standard one really. I had a mustang cabrio in San Diego for 2 weeks a couple of years back. They drive like **** and the roofs are terrible when up. They feel like cars from the 80's. We ditched it before the long drive to Vegas.

I live in Manchester so I guess I'd be better going for F1's than MPSS? I need 4 new tyres. I've never driven a car with F1's, a friend has MPSS's on his m3 and says he wouldn't have anything else.

I wish I could justify spending £2k on a Motordyne and cats. Looks like I'm going to go for a Ark or Invidia.

I'm definitely buying it. The garage are checking everything before I agree a price. I've currently got the car and haven't paid a penny yet. I had it collected by a recovery truck. Was a bit of a nightmare as it was in the multi storey on Salford quays. Does anyone know how to have a private plate valued? All I can find are websites that tell you what they will pay to sell on at a profit rather than a market value.

Just had a call to say the roof is sticking 3/4 of the way down. Just read a few old threads. Hope it's nothing serious

Just been to see the car at the garage. Miles are slightly higher than I thought at 38k but the body work is really tidy apart from the bumpers. The clicking sound is clearly the speaker in the drivers door. Other than that the interior is immaculate for a 9 year old car. My big initial worry is the roof. I didn't try for long but it seemed dead. The switch doesn't seem to do anything. Hopefully it will be a fuse. The garage are checking the car over to make sure there are no nasty surprises before I buy it.

The company he owns has numerous staff spaces allocated in the the car park and it has 24hr security so he left it there. The scrapes are definitely down to bad/drunk parking. You can tell when you see them in person. The interior is immaculate and the mileage is really low. I wouldn't touch it if I didn't know its history. It's in a car park without tax or mot and he's lost the log book.

I will. Fingers crossed everything other than the bumpers will be fine. It's only done 30k miles and had one owner. He's hardly short of cash so I doubt it's ever been ran on regular unleaded. My plan is to keep everything original apart from the exhaust. I'm going to have the wheels refurbished and the bodywork detailed. I like darker wheels but I'm thinking original silver might be better for the Rays. Although black with a silver rim edge is tempting. The only thing I really don't like are the door handles. They look and feel cheap. Is there a nice aftermarket option?

I would say the same about BMW. They let yts monkeys work on m cars. They also give em a thrashing around the car park for good measure.

I hope I like them. I'm buying one before I've drove one. I driven a 2.5 z4 which was ok and boxster s pdk which was unbelievably good. I'm hoping the the z won't disappoint.

Im struggling to find any front bumpers for sale, let alone a black one. I've come across a few rear bumpers but no front ones? I'm not interested in fibreglass replicas. I thought they'd be a few around due to people buying aftermarket bumpers. How much do 2nd hand front bumpers usually sell for? Thanks

Won't that cost as much as the car?

I don't think I'll get it for £3k, but it won't be £4k. Prob around 3.5k. The bumpers aren't dented or cracked just scraped. But front is also missing a wash jet.

It's been sat since August in a busy multi-storey which explains the dust. I knew it was a GT bud. I remember when he bought it new. He lost a fortune on coupe that he'd had for a year when he traded it in. The interior looks brand new. There are no dings or dents, but those bumper scrapes ain't pretty. The private plate looks like it might be worth a bit too.

It's the most likely choice at the moment. I've got a feeling the Motordyne is going to be too expensive.

I'm not condoning this but many companies will provide a invoice for a much lower price or mark smaller items as "gifts".

Finally went to have a look at the car today. It's really straight but very dusty. The biggest issue is the front bumper. It has nasty multi storey parking scrapes and is missing a "head lamp wash jet thing" on one side. Would I be better looking for a new bumper? Or is this easily repairable? It also has a slight scrape on the rear bumper.

No idea whether the Ark is much louder than the Invidia tbh. Haven't heard the Ark in person. Maybe ask a mod called glrnet as he has the Ark and has more than likely heard a Zed with an Invidia as well. I'm leaning towards the Invidia but I'd like to hear that and the ARK. I'm thinking of buying HFC's now and waiting until I've heard both exhausts. I don't trust YouTube clips to replicate exhaust notes. Is the ARK much louder than the Invidia?
