  1. Just clearing some space after fitting the Fujita. These OEM parts come out of a JDM '06 although it looks pretty standard. (Perhaps someone could confirm this). Whole kit and filter in great condition and comes with all bolts and fixings. No idea on price. £60 delivered sound reasonable ?
  2. This is to pay tribute to Ian. After purchasing his WASSSSO spacer and being totally retarded when it comes to fixing anything car related, he offered to take time out of his schedule and 'help' me fit not just the spacer but an induction kit last weekend. (What am I saying?!?... you actually did ALL of it.. bar a few screws What a genuinely nice bloke and knowledgeable about the Zed too. You are a legend on this forum mate and it was my pleasure to meet you. Keep in touch and hopefully I will get to return the favour in some capacity at some point. THANK-YOU By the way, to anyone considering a Spacer, I would highly recommend the Wasso Spacer. It comes with everything needed and super crisp performance in upper rev range.
  3. I think it just comes down to opinions to be honest, I know they are a trusted trader on here but my experience wasn't great. The item looked really ropey when I finally got it. It was shipped to the wrong address, everytime I spoke to them they sounded half asleep and were unhelpful and I think they are overpriced. Sorry folks..just sharing my experience
  4. +1 My RT Chargespeed bumper arrived to me in REALLY poor condition and needed an awful lot of work, sanding, prepping, priming for at least two days to get it looking as it should. You will def need to do holes for rear camera etc as required and also wire mesh for air vents
  5. Thanks Ian, I will give these breakers a bash tomoz
  6. Mate, looking at your thread that is totally worth it. Thanks for responding. I'm going to look into it
  7. Folks, I have been searching for a part for weeks which I’m hoping someone on here will be able to help me with. I’m after a Passenger side Interior Window Switch Cover for my JDM. I have recently sourced one from Clark Motorsport but this came from a ’03 model JDM and mine’s the facelift model. Needless to say, it didn’t fit. Before I pay £100+ for some Cosmetic Chip and Paintwork company to repair the interior switch cover, if anyone has any clue where I can obtain this part, or who is selling from a face-lift JDM (pigs might fly).. I would be very grateful. Here is a photo of the part I am after. NOTE: this from a UK model & doesn’t fit. This is the part I need to replace on my car. NOTE: Unlike the first photo, the window switch sits approx. half way up the door cover. Thanks in advance.
  8. The TT is not a mans car. It may be fast but you'd still look like a nance driving it ..
  9. The Zed is a classy car. Feel free to pimp it up, but not too much or you'll end up by looking like a nob. Just sayin
  10. I have similar switches on my JDM. The top right circular are your fogs. As regards to the 'Auto' button, I have heard that these control the mirror tilt feature but pressing this with engine on/off during reverse etc does nothing on mine
  11. Nice.. but I will probably hang onto it in case I need relay back home at 2a.m for eg..) and then out again to a garage following morning. Also, unless things have changed, wouldn't pre-puncture sealant invalidate any repair ? and these baby's are expensive to replace
  12. Hi Everyone, I have recently purchased some Maxmat to further help with sound deadening in the boot area - but this is heavy stuff so I have been toying with the idea of removing the Zed's Space-saver which weighs approx. 15 kilos to save weight. Has anyone done this ? Besides the obvious factor of having no spare wheel, any input as to the pro's & con's of doing this ? Thank-you
  13. Wondering if anyone on here is selling boot struts for my 2006 JDM ? I need both Left & Right Hand Struts. I really don't know if those off a UK model will fit my car but willing to try if anyone is selling. Please PM me. Thanks
  14. What I can't get my head around is that the stuff is the thickness of a piece of foil and yet people are saying its that effective. Has anyone on here used Dynaliner with it; (in the boot area for eg) ? I can see how that could absorb the sound *UPDATE* I have taken the advice and lined the boot area with Dynamat (which is where the bulk of the noise seems to be coming from and its great. Thanks all.
  15. Thanks for the input. I will probably go with Silent Coat if I can be bothered at all. Looks like a lot of work and fleabay are selling the stuff for about £80 for 40 sheets. I need to weigh up if I can be arsed
  16. Hi folks. Many will argue that supressing cabin noise in the zed takes away from the character of what the car is, but this is something I have been considering for some time as I just find it too noisy. On a related topic, I am also considering upgrading the bose which just reverberates under the noise of the wheels. So my question is: Does anyone on here have actual experience of using Dynamat ? I know there are alternatives but is it any good? Is it worth stripping out the car for? I know there are alternatives like Skinz etc, but I wouldn't want to go to the trouble of pulling up the carpet/seats/doors etc only to find that it is crap. My idea is to Dynamat the car followed by half inch of Dynaliner. Opinions would be welcome as this appears expensive stuff. Thank-you ...
  17. Nice one Chris. Thanks for your time with the question. I know a lot of people have opted for Silvertec, I will probably switch to them instead
  18. £480 is a great price. I'm paying £620 FC with breakdown & legal cover and I think that's ok.
  19. Shopping around for various premiums recently, I must confess that Chris Knott Insurance make me laugh. They yesterday told me that they are unable to insure me at ANY price because I have had less than 1 years experience driving a car of similar power. This despite the fact that I am a 40 year old man with max no claims. It just cracks me up that they have this policy like i'm some spotty 18year old that has just passed the test. Well that's my rant... Their loss is A-Plan's gain.
  20. no worries mate, I just appreciate the contribution. I'll ping an email to (Chris) CS2000
  21. Thanks, I have read that post too but as far as i'm aware, canbus bulbs have the necessary resistors. I could consult with CS2000 but just wanted to post in case anyone else out there knows the amperage of OEM indicator bulbs and whether these canbus bulbs are simply plug and play without any other fiddling
