  1. Ok thanks. I'll have a look tomorrow. It's really not as loud as any belt issue I've ever heard. The car is in for a service on Friday anyway so will get them to look at the tension etc whilst it's in there.
  2. If it was belts would it be the tension or the belts on the way out?

Fitted my K&N today....amazing! Will sort pics out
  4. Hi all Fitted my K&N typhoon intakes today...amazing! One issue though is now when the engine is cold I get a squeak and also when the accelerator is about an 8th of the way depresse (even when driving). I never noticed this noise before I fitted the intakes. It sounds like belts to me but coincidence that it's the same time as I've fitted the K&N? Any help would be great. Thanks.
  5. If you're into house/dance music get these: Tiesto Steve Aoki Sander Van Doorn The Disco Fries Spinnin' Sessions All amazing for driving and the gym.
  6. This is why I love zee's, well japanese cars in general. Always see different styles and opinions. It's very different and does look good how he's done it. Not my personal taste but he's done a good job. Can't imagine using a gear stick like this one though haha.
  7. Welcome to the most helpful forum I have ever been a part of. Can't go too wrong on here.
  8. True, would buy a nice FI set up....
  9. I'd still have one, gorgeous looking car. Plus 240bhp in something less than a ton....quicker than a zee (yes, without FI)

I've got one of these on order, can't wait! Very helpful thread, thanks.
  11. I changed from a 350z HR to a 370z Black Edition a year ago. I can't say I've looked back at all. Completely different car IMO, the handling is so much better, the interior, the engine note etc etc the list goes on. Only thing I'd say is get that standard exhaust off it ASAP as it really does hold the car back. I would 100% recommend the upgrade, but again that's only my opinion.
  12. I'm 25 with a 370z. I had a few quotes to include modifications, however I didn't try Prestige. I got a really good quote from Greenlight with like for like replacement on mods and can drive other vehicles. My quote from Adrian Flux was nearly £300 more! Worth giving them a try
  13. most likely just the plastics expanding contracting in the heat adjacent to the windscreen Yeah that's what I thought. Seems to only have done it in the colder months when going over bumps etc.
  14. I'd be interested to know if anyone has heard a rattle/clicking from the windscreen sort of area? Probably just some trim maybe?
  15. Ill be looking at a pioneer android/wifi 7" touch screen, how do aftermarket units go with the Bose system? p3 priority 3 service? and belts? Fan and Alternator? what about timing chains, worth getting that checked straight after purchase? I always take my car for a check up and full service thats if the inspection checked out okay and I bought it. My colleague and brother have both used Click Mechanic for inspections. They do a 118 point check for under £100 pounds, But the results probably vary from mechanic to mechanic lol Will be sure to post an ad I find, thanks I have not done any ICE mods myself on a zee, but I know a lot of people on here have changed head units etc successfully. I have a friend who has recently taken all of the bose speakers, sub and amp out and replaced them. He reckons it is 10x better. (user: syy) P3 service on the 350 is like a major. When I bought mine the garage did one for me and a couple of mates have also managed to get that thrown in as part of the sale too. Just adds a bit piece of mind. Some people may disagree with me. Yeah I've personally not had any belt issues, but again from what I have read on here they should be done (like any car) at a certain mileage, again not sure what that is without checking the forum. Yeah, definitely post the advert of any potentials on here. There is so much knowledge on here (a lot more than me I'll add). Good luck with the search!
  16. Welcome to the forum. You won't regret buying a zeeeeee. There's some buying guides on here, but the main things that I can think to look for are: Standard Exhaust - weld between the straight pipe and the back box usually goes (happened to my 350, good excuse for a cobra) P3 and Belts - Always nice to see the car has had a recent P3 and belts done. Bose CD Player - CD's skipping is a big issue with the 350z and also nice to get one witht eh aux mod already carried out. Big bonus if it's previously been on the forum too as you can see what's happened/if people know it's no good haha. Sorry if this is all sucking eggs. Can't think of any classic 350 issues at the moment, sure there are a few more.
  17. Another Goodyear Eagle F1 fan boy here. I've ahd the Goodyears on my Focus ST and 350z in the past, amazing in all conditions. Would highly recommend. I currently have Vredestein Sessanta's on the 370z. Very good tyres, seem to wear well and also good in the wet...maybe not quite as good as the Goodyears were on the 350, but hard to compare between cars.
  18. I think jhobbs90 was after one, maybe worth a message?
  19. Welcome to the forum, one of the best owners forums I've been on. Very helpful!
  20. Welcome to the forum. Some great knowledge and advice on here. You won't regret getting the zeeeee
  21. That does look so much cleaner! Always fancied doing this on my 350.
  22. Actually, on closer inspection it seems to have the badge indent, but not a hole for the actual indicator. Got confused with the 370z design then...which could be an option? Maybe fit a 370z indicator as it's all inclusive inside the badge? Again, not sure of the technicalities on this mod.
  23. http://www.readytofitpanels.co.uk/rtfp_joomla/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=19389&category_id=5845&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=84 Not sure if this helps? There seems to be some sort of cutout/indent??
  24. I've just had a very competitive quote from Greenlight Insurance. Have used them before for my Focus ST, they cover all mods like for like too.
