  1. They only stop when I start engine before they're out? I'm not bothered at the moment but if it starts annoying me with daily use, ill do it thanks
  2. Bought HKS filter and 2nee boot poppers, quick replies from Ewen and great delivery speed! Thanks
  3. Bloody marvellous! Just installed this bad boy and it works like magic. Pretty easy to do and didn't even have to get my multimeter out. Only thing I've noticed is when you turn ignition on and start the car in one go, they stop, you need to wait for them to open fully then start. Tiny thing and you should be waiting for lights to go out anyway... Great job flyboy. Be great to get a single write up though, swapping between forum threads is a bit annoying
  4. A few people have likend my kuro Z to the batmobile, makes me laugh.. This guy has gone to far and it looks terrible though.
  5. Sorry to hear that mate, bastards everywhere!! Tesco must have cameras?
  6. Love the pics and the stereo... one of my jobs Today I put on red leather gear gaiter and handbrake gaiter.. my car is turning more red every day... Currently half way through spraying my engine cover (cheers Vlad) red with black Nissan badge and V6.. And I put new black Z burgers on the car yesterday as the old ones were sprayed black and a bit chipped.. Getting there slowly
  7. Yeah as I said, depends what you'll use the car for as to wether its worth it
  8. They may be a bit better in some respects but not enough to justify the extra cost
  9. Depends what you do with the car, as was discussed a few days ago in another thread, there is no point spending way more on a set of tyres that you will not make full use of.. unless you are going to push your tyres to the limit, you don't need to the qualities that make MPSS expensive..
  10. If you shop in tesco anyway and don't go out your way toget extra stuff or go there, it's a little bonus
  11. Do people fill their Z with tesco fuel? Thought everyone swore by shell or bp?
  12. Agree with the others.. I've had one read up and ignored it, got another, ignored it, got another, ignored it.... Never heard from them again. It's a total scam for people willing to give up their money when someone comes up with a convincing official sounding letter. As said they can only claim from you what they've lost and in a car park that's free or very cheap, they won't ever bring it to court even if they threaten it
  13. As a pedestrian when I'm walking to work through London, it pisses me off no end cyclists riding through red lights where were trying to cross and on several occasions I've grabbed their handlebars and stopped it against my leg (going relatively slowly lol) and just shouted red light in their face.. They just look a bit dazed and don't reply. Also down the many alley ways with big signs saying CYCLISTS DISMOUNT yet I come round the corner and nearly get knocked over. When I'm riding, I stay far left as possible and signal my intentions... Not in London though, crazies on the road there, see it every day lol
  14. Hmm jury service insurance I think... If I get called up, my business would go under and so would I on that money.
  15. I've read up loads on splitting them and as long as you go steady with the heat it looks easy enough, what can go wrong!? Anyway people on here always say jobs are hard until you try them yourself and find that it's easy, like changing the spark plugs! A true pioneer! One thing I read is be careful how hot you get the glue, if too hot it'll go all stringy and go all over the inside when you pull it off and you'll have a big clean up job before you even begin
  16. Zeus, cool, I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience
  17. Payco, I paid a headlight restorer to sand down and polish up, they are just nice and shiney with marks underneath now
  18. I'm going to remove my headlights and try open them up and fix them as they have condensation stains on the inside (I can only presume they previously had a bad seal for long enough for this to happen, then it was fixed before I bought the car, as I've never seen any inside). I'm looking for an aftermarket set to use while I'm sorting them, as long as they fit I don't mind too much their condition. should work with OEM xenon's and just be plug and play.. Any ideas?
  19. It isn't condensation anymore, they're totally dry inside and have been since I bought the car, it looks like it had condensation inside for a long time and it has stained the inside of the lens. Honestly dude, clearing that will be more hassle than its worth! Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk Don't really have much choice, it's either: ebay special permanently and hope they don't get all condensed £700-900 for second hand genuine set Ebay specials until I've fixed the original set :/
