Has there been any adverse affect on the rev match capability of the car? I've heard a lightened flywheel could mess that up

I went out for a hard drive today and realised that the car is too low. It was just scraping and bottoming out on any dips in the road as such I wasn't able to drive it hard as I was more concerned about smashing my undercarriage! When I look under the car I'm shocked at exactly how low it is! The stock 370z is low but the arch gap makes it look incredibly high! This is really annoying tbh!

 

I'm lowered on eibach springs and have eibach ARBs installed.

I'm wondering what to do now. Stock springs don't look as nice. What about nismo springs? Are nismos lower than stock?

 

But disappointed tbh!

I have got a set of coilovers fitted that I am swapping for springs sounds like there could be a trade opertunity here?

Octet, I thought eibachs lowered the front more than the rear? I've got eibachs now. I thought it was 30mm front and 25mm back? Also found under hard braking the nose was diving more than I would like. Not sure I'm a fan of non linear springs tbh. It's a bit unpredictable.

Also maybe a silly question but is the exhaust on the 2016 nismo different to the older nismos? Is it stainless steel? If I remember correctly the nismo exhaust are also mild steel which is really annoying apart from the tips though

Jet Pilot - as it happens my car is going into Demon Tweeks next week for the KW V3s to be fitted, so I have bought some exhaust wrap from them and have asked them to whip the HFCs off and wrap them whilst the car is up on the ramp. I will report back on the outcome! Thanks for the suggestion.

 

If that still doesn't do the trick then Josh I will try your suggestion with the Motordyne ART pipes. My MOT testers are definitely a friendly bunch so I am sure we can come to some arrangement, or at least keep my old cats in their store room for when the time comes...

How did it go bud? Did you get the exhaust wrap on? What's the verdict? I'm thinking of doing this now if it helps with the rasp!

i am having this issue too!!

My journey has been all with the stock OEM system:

1. Removed both mid silencers. opened up the exhaust and made it a bit raspy which i didnt mind at all.

2. Added Berks HFC and the raspyness was off the scale! it was stupididly loud

3. Put both mid silencers back in with Berks HFC so it was OEM system with HFC. this was pretty much silent. it was almost stock!

4. Removed one mid silencer and have still got HFC.

i love how the car sounds in low RPM. anything higher it just gets really raspy. the heatwrap thing might be soemthing for me to try too. However., ive heard it leads to cracking because my exahsut and manifold is mild steel...can anyone confirm or deny this?

I am inclined to think there are far darker forces behind this, it maybe a bit of conspiracy theory, but there are people that will always profit form political, religious and just pure unrest and war, it pays to keep things on knife edge, its very easy to manipulate fanatics!

 

But its a terrible thing and the culprit's deserve shooting on sight regardless.

I've personally not had the best experience with automek. I've went there on 3 separate occasions and each time there was a thing or two I was cut short on but still paid for the work.

I would go to Alex. I didn't even know Alex was in Perth else I would have used him myself.

Lol plan was for OEM in summer since they are stronger and lighter due to being forged but I really like these ones lol might end up making them my summers too!

My rear spoiler is the carbon signal spoiler from Dubai looks great in the flesh. Very subtle

This is tragic and its a real shame. prayers are with everyone in paris.

Prayers are also with everyone around the world. whats the difference between the attacks that happen in europe versus the attacks the US and UK government do abroad? absolutely no difference part from that we here believe that our lives are worth more. there was a bombing the day before in a Middle eastern country but we didn't know about it because its not in the media. the middle east have devastating attacks like this everyday so i also pray for them.

one thing to remind ourself is that any non white in the uk isn't responsible for this. if they are then thats like saying all christians are responsible for the KKK attacks and all catholics are responsible for IRA attacks. its ludicrous. Wish the world would just get along and i wish the media stopped controlling peoples minds. they decide what we feel sorry for. I'm fed up with the media playing God

Also, one last thing anyone who has netflix, please please please watch a film called the Zeitgeist theory. its in 3 chapters. if you don't have time, spare 20 mins and watch chapter 2 about 9/11.

Just got some updates Anti Roll Bars installed by Chris and he done a great job had the car there for a few days while he let me decide if I wanted adjustable drop links.

He dropped the car too and advised if the stock drop links would be okay or if I needed the adjustable ones.

The result is great too. Car feels so much more planted on the straights and corners!

Cool. You sure it's front and rear? On the states forums they say white line don't do front drop links...only rear and for front and back its SPL?

All cleared up. Spoke to David on the phone. Misunderstanding with regards to who I thought was messaging me and also I was working on my central heating at home and pulled a wrong pipe and the house for flooded. Only got to my phone 20 mins ago.
