  1. Hmm I'm now also considering scorpion since I've got hfc and don't want an overly loud exhaust but want performance benefits.

    Scorpions are meant to be very well priced too I believe?

  2. Mark I'll call you and we can discuss the ECUTEK remotely if that's okay. Chris is getting fed up with uprev so don't think we will try again. Let's discuss what you need to tune remotely. Maybe even using Chris dyno?

  3. I may have to consider ECUTEK now :( up rev didn't work on my car twice. Your just so far away mark. Would you travel up to Scotland? That kind of fell by the wayside a bit probably because people didn't commit.

    Is the difference in uprev and ECUTEK the features or would there be an ability to get more power?

  4. I have Berk HFC and pretty much a stock exhaust. It sounds raspy and very good but I'm after a change now. I would like to keep the HFC seeing as they have added to the performance plus I'm going I get a remap done tomorrow with the HFC. So I'm hoping that changing the exhaust shouldn't mess up my tune

    My question is, what exhaust sounds acceptable with HFC? I've heard an invidia and it was too loud for a daily driver. I'm after a purring noise. Seems like most exhausts assume stock cats and make the exhaust noise for that level.

  5. Hey Adrian. From.the text it seems that changing the headers on the engine would give more horsepower than spending that cash on a full exhaust. Is this the case? I've got a stock exhaust with hfc and I like the noise and how there is no drone at motorway speeds. So if I want more power out of the car would you recommend the stock exhaust with new headers?

  6. So one of the main things that is changed in the uprev is the throttle open percentage. When we put our foot flat to the floor and give 100% the butterfly doesn't open 100% the ECU decides how much it opens. On the uprev the tuner can set the % of throttle open. So how can I raise the idle slightly? Wouldn't mind having that on the sport plus map!
