  1. It worked!! Thanks! This should be stickied. Well maybe the thread cleaned up then stickied. So useful especially when it's raining outside and someone frantically looking for a way to get their window back up lol

  2. Hey all

I removed the door card on the driver side to try and Install sound deadening and ended up putting everything back together again when it started raining.

Now however, when I open the door, the window goes down a tad but doesn't go up again when the door closes. If I keep opening and closing the door, the window just goes down a bit each time until it's fully open.

Any ideas what it could be?? Passenger side is fine

  3. Thanks for replies guys. So seems like some people suffer from this too.

I have my seat all the way back and still find the pedals too close. I'm 6ft 1.

The video on how to set up the seat isn't patronising. It's good to have an idea of how it should be setup but there's not much chat about feet position.

Like I've heard that you shouldn't keep your heel at the base of the brake pedal and rotate your foot for accelerator use. It supposedly adds excess stress on your knee. Other alternative is to always move your whole leg but that seems too slow and clumsy!

Anyone have any advise or videos regarding this?

Lastly should the brake pedal be in the middle of the steering wheel? What's it like in a Porsche Cayman or gt86 which is meant to be two of the best cars for driving position?

    Thanks

  4. Does anyone get a really sore knee when driving their car?? It's really starting to annoy me now. I've pinpointed it down to it being my car after 2 years of researching what triggers it. The inside part of my knee cap gets sore and swollen.

I think it's because the pedals are too much to the right. The brake pedal should be in the centre of the steering but it's not because we have a foot rest. I would have much preferred no foot rest and at least then the car wouldn't be crippling me lol

Anyone else experienced this and what's the fix?

  5. Berks are the ones people usually get but you do get some rasp off them too. I've heard great things about the motordyne ones. They have an extra resonator in them to remove any rasp. Or just get some silenced decats

  6. Hey josh... it's a hybrid and was a total pain to fit. It's an evo R carbon fibre 3 piece splitter and I also got the evo r carbon fibre fang cover. Your supposed to have one or the other but I got my body shop to cut up the fang cover to allow the front splitter to fit too

  7. have you tried it though? Bearing in mind OEM geo settings make the Zed understeer anyway.

With a sensible geo, that will make the car come alive. With an aggressive geo it could be a bit twitchy for some, but I promise you pretty much no-one here is running anywhere near close to that. ;)

Yeah when I got them on I had from to soft and rear to medium and I was sideways everywhere. Was a nightmare. Changed to soft all around and it's much better for now

  8. I found that the suspension in the nismo was much better than stock 370z. I've got lowering springs and anti roll bars but the nismo had better a sharper damping. Stock 370z dampers are too soft

  9. I've got eibach and they are great.

I've also got the eibach lowering springs which go well with the matching arb. I didn't need adjustable droplinks. Spoke to eibach and they say they design the arb to work well with the lowering springs. This is probably why I didn't need the adjustable droplinks.

Is say get coilovers though. I'm going down that riots. Group buy happening in meister r just now. 20% off
