In the next month or so my 2004 UK GT DE Engined 350 is due a service. A P1 service which I believe consists of an oil and filter change. I called Wessex Nissan of Bristol and got what I believe to be the craziest quote of all time. £337!!! I dared to ask the P2 cost and got a quote of £439. Hi buddy! Car looks great and good luck with sale! But, I see where Sidewinder is coming from, people want to see what the car they are buying actually looks like. In my opinion you should either advertise and sell it as is, or strip it and put it back to standard then advertise it. To be fair I trust MOT testers as far as I can throw them. I owned a 1994 Ford Mondeo and the car would recieve different advisories each year with me not bothering to sort them in between. Personally I would get a specialist to do a pre test for you and have a look at what will fail. Then get it MOTd. Then get the specialist to do all work including advisories. Then get the retest done for free. My 350 came with a couple of advisories but I'm waiting for it's MOT in September to see what ot needs and will get every thing all done at once. Looks great! Wish my bumper was so stone chip free :-( What polish and wax did you use mate? I did mine the other day with Megs scratch X and then dodo juice wax. Looked amazing after.
