Its been a little while so should probably stick a few more pics up. A couple I know recently borrowed it for their wedding car and were kind enough to have the photographer take a few pics. So here you go!

Both inner sides were well worn but the outers were pretty fresh. Big thanks to cougar store for sorting me out with disks and pads at short notice.

Well it appears it was just degraded pads after replacing them today. Here's a pic.

Cheers for the responses, plenty of meat on the outside but running my hand over the inner edge felt a lot of scoring. Fingers crossed its the same both sides and no issue with seized pistons.

After recently checking my disks I've noticed a fair bit of wear on the inside face compared to the outer. Is this common to the brembo set up on a zed or has anybody had the same experience? New disks and pads should be arriving 2m so I'll provide some pics when I strip them. Jay.

Does anybody know how many paint code L40 cars were made? Or even where I could find out? Just curious really.

I did mine with 2500 grit wet and dry and then polished them up with menzerna polish. Applied some bilt hamber auto balm after to give some uv protection after. They came up really well tbh. Sent from my HTC One X+ using Tapatalk

Had a few problems with the zed recently and I'm probably going to have to put it in at a garage. Rather than get fleeced or have a mechanic that hasn't really touched a zed before, I was wondering if someone could recommend a nissan specialist near Derby? Cheers in advance peeps!

I'm looking for a reader that will communicate through the OBDII with the torque app and show intake temps etc. Will any of the bluetooth readers do that on a JDM z?

Okay, may need a bit more help now. It appears the stutter hasn't gone away now so the symptoms have changed slightly. No fault codes shown from my friends obd reader, but it was struggling to connect. The car doesn't stutter on the initial 30 seconds from a cold start but is really apparent until ten minutes of driving has passed and the car is properly warmed up. Doesn't seem to be a misfire as the engine still sounds pretty smooth. However the revs rise to 2k rpm then there is a slight interruption and they drop slightly. When it does this you can hear a slight click under the bonnet possibly a solenoid or something. I have already changed the oil, spark plugs and also bought a coil pack which I swapped around all the cylinders in the hope a pack was beginning to fail. I also cleaned the throttle body and maf sensor. Any experts on here that can shed any light on this or anybody whose had the same problem? Don't want to spend silly money changing everything when its probably just a sensor. Sent from my HTC One X+ using Tapatalk
