    I have one on my Zed, It's pretty subtle if your just going for the back box.

  4. Have you considered Midnight Opal the R35 gtr colour? Tis very pretty.
  5. No they only made the type G in 2006. Without looking I think it was '09 it was imported. Has the certificate from Autech saying it's a genuine Type G.
  6. Evening everyone! I realise these kind of threads pop up all the time however my zed isn't a very common one, and I'm not sure what is reasonable amount to ask should I sell it which possibly may be soon. Now the important bit which is the car. It is a Fairlady Z version ST type G ( for whatever reason it doesnt have cruise or satnav ) A quick google will show you the normal spec etc. As far as I know there are only 2 in this colour and spec in the UK, I may be wrong but I've spent a lot of time googling. It has 67k, FSH e.t.c also there are a few pics of it from where I've posted in the interlagos fire section on here. (although technically it's premium mystic maroon) It also has a fujitsubo legalis R exhaust and HKS de-limiter fitted. Bad point is it has a stutter while driving around 2krpm but only at part temp. Don't know what causes the fault or how to go about fixing it so would probably sell the car as it is. Haven't gone crazy with the spec and pics because it isn't an advert. Will be needing a family wagon in the not too distant future so just after a bit of advice from the zed community really. Any thoughts guys?

  8. Yeah, they released the type g in 2006 for a year in Japan. Had a few extra bits like rays ver.2 alloys, kick plates, cabernet red interior and arch lips too.
  9. They appear red in the pics but look a darker brown in the flesh.

  11. Yeah its safe to say he has a decent amount of disposable income. The zed my friend is buying is a fairladyZ version ST typeG there aren't many over here. Especially not in my colour. It was the maroon one at japfest2 on the club stand. You probably saw it tbh.
  12. Yeah you are right, that car could easily push more. My friend is currently leaning more towards a custom fabricated turbo set up with the intention of keeping it looking as close to OEM in appearance as possible. The zed that he's buying is a little rarer than normal and he doesn't want to detract from that too much.

  16. I'll take it as the GTM route is a bad idea then. Can anyone recommend a company that will fab a decent kit?

  20. Cheers so far everyone, I've got a bit of light reading by the looks of it. I know he's wanting it to look as standard as possible. Not too big of an ask with the position of the turbos etc. Would that be around the 15k mark with a built motor evilscorp?
  21. I have a friend who is wanting to have a twin-turbo set up on an imported revup. I've been having a look and the GTM rhd kit but was wondering if anybody had experience with it? Also would it be possible to get a rough estimate on the cost and unexpected expenses by people that have gone the twin-turbo route themselves? Also the ideal power goal is 600+ so are there any weaknesses that need to be addressed pushing numbers that high. Jay.
  22. Its a fujitsubo system although I'm not sure which one off the top of my head. Its quieter than the size of the tail pipes would have you believe.
  23. Yeah, I was also at the cougar stores meet. I normally do get the bug to tweak with whatever I'm driving but the fact its as rare as what it is keeping me honest.
  24. Yeah, me and the missus were there. I can definitely remember seeing your engine bay! Wish I had spent a little more time on the stand tbh. Got a bit carried away with the rest of the show and didn't talk to as many of the zed owners as I wanted to.
