  1. Will be giving this a rinse at the weekend hopefully
  2. I have a Holts fluid can in the Zed also, I've read that the manufacturers ones have a used by date but couldn't find this info for the Holts offering? Yeah the hole is plugged from the outside, ie a roadside repair. As you pull the tool out of the tyre leaving the folded plug, the for needed must mushroom the plug also on the inside creating a patch as the plug is super sticky.
  3. I had the same issue a few years back after Kwik Fit replaced my battery under warranty via the supplying garage. The negative terminal would work loose and the car would randomly loose power. I replaced the nut and bolt on the lead and it's allowed for a touch more clamping force which has been fine ever since.
  4. Nice one pal for clearing that up, of course very interesting and all exposure is good exposure and he's used the negative news combined with the negative feedback and come up with a positive. Reminds me when Thor first meet Iron man and used his hammer to direct a lightning bolt at him, it ended up charging up his suit to 300% Any updates on your channel Neil?
  5. Didn't come with any glue, having used this type of repair kit once didn't feel the need for anything more. Carried out the repairs while it was raining which was useful as the wet tread would have showed any air leaks after repair.
  6. +1 for the Ctek charger. I have it setup whereby I can charge/top up the battery without needing to gain entry to the vehicle. Have the supplied leads connected to the battery and then led up towards the wipers as an external plug point.
  7. Not specific to the 350z, had anyone bought or used one of these kits? Couple of mates have had punctures gone to a garage for repairs and they've plugged it and sent them in their way. The repair is similar to what the AA and RAC etc do for members, treated as a permanent repair. I bought a kit for emergencies and the other morning noticed the wifes Nissan Note N/S rear tyre was flat. Screw dead center of the tread, so used the kit and thus far it's been fine. Cut the plug a bit proud of the tyre, so it would wear in a tad and blew the tyre up to spec. Will buy another kit to leave in the Zed now. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00ISFHBWE/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=A66GM1OKAU2KN&psc=1
  8. We use Driver Transmissions in Birmingham at work.
  9. I would first check the door switches on the b posts. Then carry out a window auto up/down reset.
  10. Think it's fair to say non of us know for sure, only our residential youtuber @vroom811 would know what's what
  11. Plus it's passive income, doubt it's cash in hand payment. Bank transfers wouldn't be too hard to audit from a taxable pov.
  12. Dunno how much 500k views earns, maybe a couple thousand.
  13. I said a company like this could easily pile tone of money into R&D and create fantastic wax it wet product. Each to their own and good job stores are filled with different brands.
  14. Arranging meets/events are a thankless task and does take effort/planning to not waste everyone's time. That last note won't have the desired effect. I like a few others have been arranging meets for years and years on this forum and previous clubs, paid or not paid you get no shows. The same goes for christmas parties, meals, drinks nights, birthdays, weddings etc For a total no show to a space limited meet, the next time they post interest for a space limited meet #reservelist
  15. Exactly 12 month's ago I'd said this could easily happen, only brand snobs slate companies like turtle wax.
  16. I can see the post timeline police coming lol
  17. Ultimately he hasn't hurt anyone and isn't bad person *understand no one has said he has. I also doubt he's after anyone sympathy. He's documenting what can happen during a vehicle finance agreement. Anyone who has modded a car on manufactures finance is no different. Hundreds of thousands of car guys and girls watch his content finding it entertaining. Having personally met and spoke with Ricky at a Midlands meet he held, he's a sound lad and I challenge anyone to show first hand experience of anything other.
  18. Its like it you bought a set of wheels and tyre for £1800 on finance and after a few months decided you wanted to get the wheels refurbed in a difference colour, nobody would think twice. Its the same the for cars, yes not yours until paid off but evidential mods//alterations take place. Poor example I know, but in principle the same. I think its a tough call, has BMW sold more M cars due to LLF? Possibly a lot of owners would say yes, the channel had influenced their decision over a similar spec Audi, Nissan, Jag or Merc. Are BMW happy with the extra sales, yes but no. Still could all be fake news???
  19. The VQ series was a Nissan designed and built engine, Renault used these as a customer, not the other way round.
  20. You can mod a financed car, like what Litchfield and Mountune do for Nissan, Porsche and Ford - yes what Ricky did was wrong and his close friends should have had a word. This won't have been his first financed car that he's modded over the years. Dare I say it most financed performance cars get modded, like I said it's if you get caught. He got caught that is the only difference.
