  1. Finally managed to wrestle mine off the Post Office Saturday, great calendar, has pride of place now in my office Thanks to everyone involved...
  2. No it happens every time I use the washers & has happened since I bought the car in November??
  3. Is this a common fault? Whenever I use the headlight washers the drivers side one sticks & has to be put back manually. It's not a major thing, just looks a bit daft driving around with one in & one out? Any quick fix solutions?
  4. Filled up yesterday as light was on & it was indicating 20 miles left. Managed to squeeze in 53 litres I guess I need to get this checked out!
  5. Welcome to the Forum I've had my zed now for over 2 months, with general driving I am averaging 23mpg... Good luck in your search
  6. Welcome to another twilight grey owner

    Surely not..

Says he had a lot of comments when he fitted it....I bet he did!!
  8. Can you put me down for one please, if I'm not too late??
  9. Spotted in Sainsburys carpark in Leamington Spa last night, nice wheels! Anyone on here??
  10. Great thread.... When I was looking to upgrade my last car (Z4 2.5) I considered the following:- 1. Z4 3.0 - nice car, good performance but expensive if you want low mileage, service history, etc. 2. Audi TT 3.2 - again nice car, good performance less expensive than Z4 but just didn't want the constant 'hairdressers car' comments! 3. Mazda RX8 231 - discounted after test drive, just didn't feel like a 230 bhp car? These are the cars that I thought were initially in the same category as the 350z, rear wheel drive sports cars! I didn't look at hot hatches, sports saloons, etc, I have had these in the past....I wanted a sports car. Anyway, I bought a 350z &, well, it has everything, 3.5ltr, 300bhp, great sound, great handling!!....& all at a very reasonable price for a low(ish) mileage car with a full service history as well (ok economy isn't great but you can't have everything can you?) So in conclusion & sorry for all the 'waffle', I think it actually fits into it's own category.....as there isn't really anything to compare it with like-for-like when considering performance, value & kerb appeal. There I've said it now, note to self, must try to be less serious

    Spraying of alloys!

Thanks for your comments, ideas, etc. Don't think I will spray myself based on previous 'attempts' at spraying, but thanks anyway marsman, maybe one day........ So really need to decide between spray & powdercoat finish?? Will let you know soon & post up photos
  12. They look great, just toying at the moment between Dark Grey or Black for my rays. Love the matching door handles, might look into this also. I also have the black 'z burgers' just haven't fitted them yet....
  13. Really nice mods, were the wheels sprayed or powdercoated??

    Spraying of alloys!

Thinking of having my wheels sprayed, dark anthracite or similar (car is metallic grey) Has anyone had this done by any companies in the Midlands area (I am in Tamworth) Also how much did you pay? I used Derby Alloys earlier this year to refurb/spray alloys on my Z4. They did a nice job so would be happy to use again. They have quoted £160, spray only, no refurb as this is not required. Which I think is a fair price?
  15. Should be there building the Akrapovic Trade Stand, I am going to try to 'blag' a free ticket to one of the trade days from my client......
  16. Thanks for your reply. yes I read your thread, it was a bit concerning to say the least Hence the question about whether anyone had used them for bodywork. To be honest following your experience if I don't get any positive feedback from anyone I won't bother asking them for a quote. May try a bit of t-cut and elbow grease on the scratches first, see what that achieves. Unless someone has a better solution?
  17. Hi, would it be possible to supply the members discount code as thinking of contacting Midlandmars to quote for having some scratches sorted on my rear bumper (the car was attacked by a piece of twinwall in the strong winds last week ) Also has anyone any experience of using Midlandmars for paintwork repairs?? Many thanks Pete
