Probably will at some point but short term I was more wondering how wide the top of the gaiter is - ie is it as wide as the base of the OEM knob or is it closer to the diameter of the gear stick shaft and slides up underneath the OEM collar? David Oh right sorry. Gaiter is a close fit around the shaft so will be tucked under gear knob neatly

just thinking the same or its been in a heavy shunt by the way

You may see a circular mark in the gaiter where the original knob has sat . Buy a new gaiter and it shouldn't be a problem

I can't see it all failing at once, check the fuses , if your not sure which one it is take them out ,check and replace one at a time.

Try using a scalpel they are so much better for the job than a Stanley knife

My gear knob arrived this morning from Kta, nice quality and the laser etching is lovely. Which option did you go for stainless or aluminium , polished or brushed?
