  1. Clark Motorsport do them, new costing £184.99 inc vat & delivery. I've got a used one if you want that drop me a pm
  2. When I bought my Zed a little over a year ago I always intended on changing the interior. After a bit of research and a couple of days work I've gone from this... To this... I did it by buying a recolour kit from Furniture Clinic, choosing BMW Walknappa Amarone colour. It's got a sealant on it so should last, but time will tell. A leather conditioner can be applied a week after the sealant so I need to wait for a bit. With a new gear knob on it's way (thanks Tarmac) all I need to do is sort the steering wheel and hand brake. I'm pretty happy with the finished product.
  3. Hi Mudman, see my post above, had the same P0340 code on mine.
  4. I had slip and warning lights come on and wouldnt start before, was the cam shaft sensor (or crank shaft sensor). Picked up a replacement from Eurocarparts for around £50-60. Did a search and it says there was a recall for 03-06 cars. Code reader will be your friend though.
  5. ordered some on thursday from their site, not fleabay, and cost £49.50 +vat for the pair. phoned to query why they werent delivered yesterday and was told out of stock so 3-5 day wait.
  6. Hi, I've been thinking of doing a couple of things with the interior for a while but don't pretend to know a lot about the technical part of this. Firstly I was thinking of modifying the centre console, essentially redesigning it from the gauges at the top through to the back of the arm rest. Has anyone seen/done this already? I'm thinking new gauges, new head unit/sat nav area, new dials, arm rest redesign with cup holders, new buttons. If I sourced new dials, buttons from say a gtr/merc etc would I be able to wire in or is it not that simple? I'm assuming a hazard light button from a connector point of view is the same from one car to the next, but it might be more complicated depending on what's being replaced? Secondly, looking at redesign of the door cards, mainly to 1. Incorporate colour of leather seats into the door cards and 2. Have an updated alternative to the buttons and scratched plastic area. Again, anyone seen/done this kind of thing? I appreciate there are plenty of topics where people have painted or wrapped or dipped interior parts but I'm thinking more of redesign. Anything I do would be with an 'as standard' finish to it. Cheers
  7. Eurocarparts do them mate, two types available (copy or genuine I guess)

    Boot popper

Hi, anyone got a boot popper they don't need? I got mine reconditioned by a member on here but it bent shortly afterwards and he seems to have disappeared quite a while ago.
  9. What is it with this punching the door card? I thought my window motors failed, bought new and shortly after failed again, hitting the door card makes it kick in, so must be a dodgy connection somewhere. Wonder how many window motors have been bought when not really needed.
  10. As said, watch the conditions about having to wager the money x times before withdrawal is allowed. I do something called match betting which shouldn't be done unless fully understood and have made a lot more on coral than they are offering here.
  11. I took mine off when fitting Tarmac side diffusers and was stunned to see all the muck stuck in there
  12. If only you'd have come round to do it then It was pouring down the day I asked the question so thought I'd ask whilst waiting for the weather to improve. By the way, I'd had it investigated and bought replacement window motors only a couple of months before so thought the obvious would've been ok.
  13. Ok, just to let people know the outcome in case anyone suffers the same. I disconnected the switch from the arm rest area, relay started clicking away so there was a dodgy connection somewhere. Turns out the switch connection wasn't completely pushed together, so a simple bit of pressure and all good now.
  14. Bockaaarck, did you get the error sorted? I had those light up on start up recently, was the camshaft sensor. I bought the elm327 wifi code reader from eBay which, with software app (another 7 quid), means I can read/clear codes, get engine performance info. Bought the camshaft sensor from eurocarparts for about £70, nissan dealer supplied the wrong one, and fitted it myself (and I'm rubbish at fixing things!)
  15. Looks awesome, you're right to be chuffed with it. Look forward to seeing it in the flesh
  16. Ok, first of all apologies for creating another new thread Further investigation into no power going to my window switches I've found there's no power to my door lock either, which obviously sits in the same area as the window switch. Any ideas?
  17. Anyone got any thoughts? Disconnected battery and reconnect but no joy. Is there a fuse/relay that supplies the windows?
  18. What's an IPDM unit? I'm in Bristol.
  19. Hi, I recently had a P0340 error on the camshaft sensor. At this time my windows started playing up (would work and then not work). Now I've replaced the camshaft sensor I don't get any power to my windows. The relay isn't clicking on either side and I know the motors are ok because I replaced with new a couple of months ago. I'm aware of the window reset procedure but I assume it'll only work if I've actually got some power going to them. What should I do next, disconnect battery? Any help would be appreciated. P.S. I haven't got the window lock on! Cheers.
  20. As many others have said, my thoughts are with you during this sad time
  21. I got the same a couple of weeks ago. One of the key things, the contract is with the driver, they've written to you as the registered keeper, probably no idea if you're the driver at that time. Moneysavingexpert has guides and templates.
  22. Had a similar discount at my local until recently, fuel pump didn't count properly so cost about £57 to fill up!! Unfortunately they've fixed it now
  23. I've got some sat in my garage that I removed when I bought the car. What's a reasonable price? Can get pics if you want them.
  24. I think you have to turn the ignition on, tilt the seat back, put your baseball cap on backwards and drive really slowly with your arm on the top of the door card. That should do it Sorry, hopefully someone with a sensible answer will be along in a minute
  25. Yeah, me yesterday too (have you been driving my car !?!?). My engine light, esp etc came on. I did the peddle dance to reset the ecu to see if it came back. Looking to get it in the garage asap to get checked but all searches on here point towards the cam shaft sensor regardless of other linked issues (my windows stopped working too)
