  1. Not sure how big this bolt is but failing spursmaddave's suggestion on drilling it out you could try this but it is a bit of work. Firstly you drill a small hole in to the bolt, then you tap the hole to fit another smaller bolt which you then screw in and epoxy in place. Once the epoxy has gone off fully, you then unscrew the smaller bolt which hopefully will pull out the other bolt with it. Doesn't always work but I've done it in the past. Good luck with it.
  2. Ok, thanks SuperStu. Got a few expensive bills coming my way so I'll have a look in the future as it's something I definitely want done. It's the only thing letting my interior down really. Thanks again.
  3. Hi SuperStu, just reading your build thread and your car looks great so far. Really like what you've done to your Zed. Just wondered though where did you get your carbon fibre drivers door pull/switch panel? ...as mine is very scratched from a previous ring wearing owner. You mentioned RT. Is that a trader on here? Thanks in advance for any help in acquiring a set.
  4. Just seen this post RedWill. That's unlucky. You could try giving this company in Cardiff a ring for a quote as they did a very good job repairing my Dad's 05' 330Ci BMW. There called; Dave Phelps Accident Repair Centre Ltd, 27-28 Argyle Way Industrial Est., Ely, Cardiff, CF5 5NJ. Tel: 02920596658. Email: david@davephelpsarc.co.uk
  5. What a f**king nightmare. I thought I had it bad when I found some scratches on mine this Friday but at least mine polished out. Really hope it doesn't cost too much for you to get it fixed.
  6. Welcome Roobies8. I know how you feel, I had never spent more than £4K on a car before I bought my Zed just two weeks ago apart from on modding of course. Hope you enjoy your Zed just as much as I am.
  7. Wow, what a car grahamc. Really looks the bee's knee's, the dog's bo**ocks etc etc. Can't wait to see what you do to the 350.
  8. Does sound like a mission. I think I'll wait until a bulb blows then before I attempt this. No point dismantling the car just yet.
  9. Don't look too bad. I prefer a whiter light so would probably go for the 6K and the sidelights look better too. Just bought one of those 5smd LED bulbs for my interior boot light and the difference was fantastic so it's good to know they look good in the headlights too. On another note 350Ad do you have to take the headlamp out to replace the bulbs then I'm assuming? Is it just remove four bolts and lift out forwards?
  10. I live in South Wales and let me tell you the snow here can be just as bad as up the North of the country. I can't even get out of my drive sometimes let alone the street. Bl**dy hills.
  11. Looks like they've done an excellent job Lyndzzz. Not a stone chip in sight ~ wish mine looked that good.
  12. Loving the "Formula silver" above. That's what I'd go for I think.
  13. Hello Keith, is it a nut then or a bolt? If you've just stripped the head (rounded off) then there are tool's available to easily remove these. One is "Grip Tite"; http://www.griptitetools.com/
  14. These type of miniature engines have been around for a long time now. I've seen lot's of different variations on Youtube from the US mainly with some even being supercharged. Still very, very cool and a real feat of engineering imo. Also worth looking at miniature jet engines on Youtube.
  15. I've got a Halford's 150hp jet washer that I received as a gift some 7/8 years ago RedWill so you don't necessarily have to spend big bucks for a reliable pressure jet washer. Also I've found eBay to a very good place to shop for detailing products as there is a huge choice of top brands and more often than not at half the price of the same product from Halfords even with the postage cost's involved. Some threads you might want to read; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/74568-g1-clear-vision-smart-glass/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/77063-what-pressure-washer-to-buy/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/76260-snow-foam/
  16. Ok so traction control off in the snow whilst driving a Zed no matter what. I thought it should be off for setting off but then turned on again once your moving but I stand corrected.
  17. I guess it's something you could easily have done at a later date though if you wanted too. As long as you're happy with your car that's the main thing. Looking forward to seeing the after pics.
  18. ^^ No what you mean RedWill. There not common car's by any means. I just can't stop cleaning & polishing mine.
  19. I can see in my profile there is a long list of the posts that I've made but how about a "View your posts" button up in the top right next to the "View new content" button so it's more accessible. With newest posts first so you can check on the most recent replies made by others. Just a thought.
  20. Lovely colour Zed Lyndzzz. I'd have had the paint shop colour code the door handles that blue colour as well. Look forward to seeing the after pics.
  21. From what I've read it's around 80-90 ft/lbs torque for the standard nuts but I'm unsure if you should do the locking wheel nut's up to that setting or a slightly lower torque.
  22. Also worth a look at the "build threads" to see a good selection of different exhausts fitted to Zeds.
